• 71 and let me repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit.
• 14 have been arrested on drug related charges.
• 8 have been arrested for shop lifting.
• 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits.
• 21 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year.

It is the 535 members of our United States Congress!

The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year that are designed to keep the rest of us in line!

RESPECT OUR HOUSE!!

The problem with public housing is that the residents are not the owners.
The people that live in the house did not earn the house, but were loaned the property from the true owners, the taxpayers. Because of this, the residents do not have the "pride of ownership" that comes with the hard work necessary. In fact, the opposite happens and the residents resent their benefactors because the very house is a constant reminder that they themselves did not earn the right to live in the house. They do not appreciate the value of the property and see no need to maintain or respect it in any way.

The result is the same whether you are talking about a studio apartment or a magnificent mansion full of priceless antiques. If the people who live there do not feel they earned the privilege, they will make this known through their actions. The picture below illustrates the point:

Where Has All The Money Gone?

If a person wants to know where all the money has gone and why are we facing such hard times this post is prepared to give you a few brief reasons why our country is in the shape that it is in.  Most Americans will agree with this article but not all. Please read it and tell me if you agree, because the people who do not agree will certainly let me know! Do not be in the Silent Majority, stand up for America and be counted!


The America people have now reached a point, in the history of this country,  where the number of people who work hard everyday, and are paying taxes, are just about the same as the number of people who pay no taxes at all, and, because of it, America today is suffering the consequences of the.  "gimmes" to from the other half that thinks this country owns them a living. When the working Americans (Better known as The Tea Party) who pay there taxes cried "enough" in the debit debate, the left responded by calling them terrorist. That puts the working American on the same level as people who try to kill us for one reason or the other! 

The sad fact of this matter is we have been heading to this point since the late 60's and early 70's. It was then that the liberals in this country, under the leadership of President Johnson started the "Great Society". to be exact it was 1964 when the bill was past. The effects of that bill started to be felt by the working man in the late 60's and early 70's and has got steady worse since then. If the concept of the great society was done in the right way it might have been a very good idea. I say this because there are people in this country that do need help from their fellow Americans. The elderly, people who are temporary out of work for a good reason (the key word here is temporary), and people who are in need (key word need) of help. It might have been a good plan if:

• The designers and framers of this Bill did it for the right reason. That reason would be to just help people until they could get back on their feet. However, as most of us know, this was not the reason behind any of Congress's  decisions about the "Great Society". They saw the "Great Society" as a way for them to get votes needed for re-election to their career jobs. It was like  guaranteeing them their jobs no matter what it did to the rest of the American People.
• The really bad flaws in this bill should have been looked at and fixed. The first flaw is there was a way for people to use this Great Society Program, but there was nothing in the Bill to design away for people to get off of the program, so people became stagnated and never tried to do better for their self, for them it is like a catch 22. There are families who have lived off the government for generations because they know no other way. There are some folks that are caught up here, that do not want to be where they are at and want better for their self. But they are few in number. Sometimes I think that this is really what the liberals want so that they would be in complete control. A socialist (communist) government that gives them absolute power. These people are more or less like people living on a big plantation (The USA) as slaves to a master (The government) that gives them everything. 
•  We have some, not all, people who try to use the "Great Society" as a free ride. Riding the back of honest tax payers, who are footing the Bill! I'm talking about people who will not work, in any type of job, even if it was as a pie taster! That is a sad fact of where our country is at today. The case of "What you going to Gimme" has to stop if this nation is ever to survive!
• There needs to be a plan put into place by the elected officials of this country that calls for drug testing, and some kind of public work for the people who are using the system to get out of work and to free load off the working man. If our president has, as he calls them, shovel ready jobs give them to the people who will not work and if they did not work then they do not eat. Simple as that and straight to the point.  When I was growing up my father said many a time when I got a lazy streak this: "You do not work you don't eat" I instilled that in my kids as they were growing up and now they are doing the same things with there kids. How much better off would our country be if all parents taught their children the same thing. 

 The Great Society is not the only problem to cause America to be in the shape that it is in. Our Country has been mismanaged for a very long time. The government throws money away because in reality it is not their money so they just do not care. It is, and always will be, what ever it takes for them to remain in office. As I see it here are some of the other ways this government has mismanaged the taxpayer's money.

1. For decades America has been giving money to other nations. We are not talking about small sums of money, but it has been vast amounts of the tax payers money to help other counties. The sad fact is most of the money was and is not going to help the people of that nation, but it is going to the leaders of those countries and most of them are the mid-east countries that hate us. The leaders are becoming fat cats while their people still starve  and forever will be third world countries. Why are we still sending money to these nations?
2. America is now just about 100% dependent on oil from other countries and most of them hate America and the very ideas for which it stands. Why are we not drilling in our own country? This would create a untold amount of jobs and lower the price of gas at the pump and oil for out homes. food prices would go down. All reports say we have more than enough oil in this country to last a life time. So why are we not drilling here?
3. We are losing more and more jobs everyday to other countries. Companies are moving out of this country by the hundreds. This causes high unemployment and more burden on the taxpayer and why?  The government is placing so many regulations, taxes, and rules on these companies they can no longer pay the American worker a decent wage or make a profit. Once again the government is causing the problem.
4. Never have I ever seen and heard of so many pork projects in my life and other pay outs by the tax payer that are draining this country. Get rid of those unnecessary things and we could all eat pork. This is one area of our government that is really draining this nation and the taxpayer's checkbook. While we are at it let's stop all the free hand outs of condoms and birth control pills in schools. Let's stop paying for babies to be aborted and put a stop to the government paying for some women to have untold numbers of babies, all by different fathers, and then once again paying the women to raise them. For some women this is a way of life. what a savings here!

The very last comment that I would like to make in this article is this: We need a change in leadership! not only in Congress but also in the White house. We have a man in the White House that has one failed policy after another. From Obama Care to the stimulus that did nothing to help get the economy moving. We need leadership from a leader that believes in America and not from one that is tearing down and destroying the country.

  

The Visitors: A Class Act

A doctor had his TV on in his office when the news of the military base shootings at Ft. Hood , TX came on. The husband of one of his employees was stationed there. He called her into his office and as he told her what had happened, she got a text message from her husband saying, "I am okay." Her cell phone rang right after she read the message. It was an ER nurse,” I’m the one who just sent you a text, not your husband. I thought it would be comforting but I was mistaken in doing so. I am sorry to tell you this, but your husband has been shot 4 times and he is in surgery." The soldier's wife left Southern Clinic in Dothan , AL and drove all night to Ft.Hood. When she arrived, she found out her husband was out of surgery and would be OK. She rushed to his room and found that he already had two visitors there to comfort him. He was just waking up and found his wife and the visitors by his side. The nurse took this picture: What? No news crews and cameras? This is how people with class respond and pay respect to those in uniform. I sent my cousin in Fayetteville, N.C. (Retired from Special Forces) that picture of Geo. W. visiting the wounded at Ft. Hood . I got this reply: What is even better is the fact George W. Bush heard about Fort Hood, got in his car without any escort, apparently they did not have time to react, and drove to Fort Hood. He was stopped at the gate and the guard could not believe who he had just stopped. Bush only asks for directions to the hospital then drove on. The gate guard called that "The President is on Fort Hood and driving to the hospital." The base went bananas looking for Obama. When they found it was Bush, they immediately offered escort. Bush simply told them it was o.k. and to let him visit the wounded and the dependents of the dead. He stayed at Fort Hood for over six hours, and was finally asked to leave by a message from the White House. Obama flew in days later and held a "photo opportunity" session in a gym, and did not even go to the hospital. All this I picked up from two soldiers here who happened to be at Fort Hood when it happened. This Bush/Obama/Ft.Hood story is something that should be sent to every voter in the US . Those who wanted "change". You certainly got it.

The Trogan Horse: The Enemy Within

For a long time I have wondered about our president, his life, some of the things that he has said, and what or who is driving him to do the things he does. Things have never added up with me, about Obama. When I went to school 1 plus 1 equaled 2, but not in Obama's case. His math does not add up. I want to share some of the things that I have found out about Barrack Husein Obama with you. As I start I want to remind the reader I'm only touching the surface about this man.

• Somewhere around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. “Barry” (as he was called then) had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandra and Wahid Hamid, both of them are from Pakistan. After his second year in college, during the summer of 1981, he made a “round the world” trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate’s family, then he left there and went to Africa to visit his family from his father’s side. The question that has to be asked is where did he get the money for this trip? No college student, that I ever knew, never did have that kind of money unless their family was very rich and that is not the case here. Something is already ringing in my ears!
• When he returned to America he enrolled at Columbia University. It was at this time he wants everyone to call him Barrack – not Barry. Why was that? Could it be that “Barry” sounded to American? Does anybody have a idea what the cost is to be educated at Columbia? It’s certainly not the cheapest place to attend! Where did Barry (I mean Barrack) get the money he needed for the tuition and his stay at the university? Was it student Loans? I do not think so. After he let Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago? What was the problem why he did not do the same thing in New York City? He was already living in New York. Why Chicago of all the places were he could have done this?
• After arriving in Chicago he met Antoin Rezko, who was born in Aleppo Syria, and was a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery not long after they met. Rezko, was named “Entrepreneur of the Decade” by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association” About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Were is all this money coming from? Where did Obama get the money for Harvard? After Harvard, Obama went back to Chicago. Antoin Rezko {some of you might know him by Tony} Wanted to give Obama a job, which he did not take. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. They represented “Rezar” which is Rezko’s firm. Antoin Rezko was one of Obama’s first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fund raiser for Obama, which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with start up money or “seed money” as they called it, for his U.S. Senate race.
• In 2005, Obama bought a new home in Chicago for $1.65 million, which was a lot less than the asking price. Where did he get the money to by this property? On the same day Rezko’s wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama’s new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
• The next thing we know Obama is running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was at that time Michele Obama’s boss. She is now Obama’s chief advisor and Obama does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Valerie Jarrett was born in Shiraz, Iran! Is there some coming together here? Are we beginning to see a pattern here? Better yet are your ears starting to ring yet?
• On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley who was an advisor to Barrack Hussein Obama was removed after the press found out he was having regular contacts with Hamas, {We all know who that is} which controls Gaza and also has connections with Iran. He also came under attack for being anti Israel and was also said to be deceitful by Martin Peretz (New Republic Magazine) who also said that Malley was a rabid hater of Israel. Ed La sky (The American Thinker) said, “Malley represents the next generation of anti-Israel activism. I guess these things were was buried in the back part of our newspapers. Iraqi newspapers reported the story that during Obama’s visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he was elected, and he will “Take care of things”. Never heard this out of an American newspaper. What does that mean? Now my ears are truly ringing!
• Remember Obama's college roommates that where born in Pakistan? They were in charge of all those so called “small Internet campaign” and the contribution for Obama. Where is all that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Some of it maybe, or could it be from the Middle East? We will never know

• On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times defends a slip that was made on “This Week” with George Stephanapoulos. Obama when he was asked about his religion he said this: “MY Muslim FAITH”. When Obama was asked about his Slip of the tongue or should I say questioned about what he said,The Washington Times said “He make a mistake”. SOME MISTAKE That was! Check it out for yourself. Obama also said sometime latter that “the greatest sound in the morning is the call to Muslims for prayer! Even later he canceled the nation day of prayer, that all presidents took part in, because he did not want to offend nobody, but then lets thousands of Muslims pray on the white house lawn. There is something ringing in my ears again! He is a Christian? Not in my book and that is not judging either! Yea shall know them by their fruits and his fruits do not look all that good.
• Why would Obama send a bust of Winston Churchill back to London? Could it be that Churchill was a devote communist hater and Obama is not? Why was the Israeli leader, not long ago, ushered in the back door of the White House. This was never done by any other American president. Could it be that he did not want to upset his Muslim friends? Why would Obama go to a Muslim nation and tell the people that America is not a Christian nation (but a nation of many religions), when in fact this country was founded on Judeo Christian principles and most of the laws of this country come from these principles.
• There is also the issue about the birth certificate. He never produced a certified copy when he ran for office, which is one of the requirements, and his latest attempt to swept it under the rug was to produce a a birth certificate was deceiving. Experts in the field say that the certificate was not a real one or was it a certified copy. What does Obama not want the American people to know?
• When a man states publicly, for all to hear, that parts of the Holy Bible are not for today and the constitution, that has governed this land for over 200 years, is outdated, everybody should take notice, everybody better look out! Obama said when he was elected that he would “Change” America. He never spoke a truer word. He is tearing down this country and dismantling it right before our eyes. It is time to wake up America and get this guy out of office, before he completes his so called “change”
• When Obama goes to different countries he keeps apologizing for how bad this nation has been and it will get better, how under his watch? This nation has been the keeper of the world for decades. Leading money, helping to remove dictators, always there in a disaster, and more of our soldiers, our brave young men have, have died on foreign soil fighting for the freedom of others and yet we have a leader who says we have been arrogant and bad!   His wife disliked This country until her husband was elected. How did this man ever get elected.

We, as Americans live in very scary times. Food prices, gasoline, and other commodities are throw the roof. Over nine percent unemployment near the end of his term, people loosing their homes, and he has the nerve to say recently that he could do a better job running the country by his self. Sounds like to me he wants to be a " dictator" and that is scary! Some of his cabinet people and some of his Czars give speeches that indicate this country has to fall before a new system can be put into place. What is wrong with the system that we have now, other than the fact he is the president. It was good enough for our forefathers, our fathers and mothers, and it is good enough for me. the last time that I checked we still lived in the land of the free and the home of the brave! but sad to say our freedom is slipping away from us.

America's Down Grade

The United States credit rating was down graded for first time in the history of credit ratings this week. The country's top AAA dropped to a AA-plus. The credit agency that made the decision to lower this country's credit rating said that it lowered the rating because the deficit reduction plan, that was debated and passed by Congress this week because it did not go far enough to stabilize the country's debt situation. Obama said the decision had "deep and fundamental flaws." The only flaw is the spending by him and congress that got this country to the point of were it is. This country cannot spend more than we take in and still think that everything will be okay. We can not spend our way out of default.

The credit agency that made the down grade (Standard & Poor's) said that it was also issuing a negative outlook, which means that there is more than a good chance the company will lower the rating again within the next two years. The company said that such a downgrade to AA happened because they did not see less reductions in spending from Congress and Obama. That was a correct statement because all that is coming out of Washington by Obama and his democrat colleges is more spending and the raising of taxes. One would have to stop and think, does Obama want this country to default, or is he the type of person that says: "It is my way or the highway." 

The credit agency told the government in April that a downgrade was going to happen unless Congress and Obama came up with a credible long-term deficit reduction plan and avoided a default on the country's deficit. The country never defaulted, but came close. There is still no long term deficit plan by Obama or congress. Why does that not surprise many people. After months of  back and forth negotiations with Obama, Congress passed this week a debt reduction package at the 11th-hour that stopped a possible default. Standard & Poor said it was now "discouraged about the capability of Congress and Obama to be able to use their agreement this week to bring forth a more broader fiscal plan that combine and beef up this country debt anytime soon." The fact is this, Obama will never do any of what the credit agency said because he will not do what the American people want. The American people are saying the same thing as the credit rating company. both are to death ears.

Everything is blamed on Bush. That is Obama's way out of every debate. How much longer will the American people put up with this? Obama his self has done a job on this country. From the Health Care Bill, To the failed stimulus bills, to all the bail outs, all have a major part in where our country is today, financially. Then when you add all the other things to it such as, not securing our boarders, giving illegals all kinds of benefits that the taxpayer will have to shoulder the bill for and many other thing we have a burden that no country could bear.  As citizens we can, for the most of us, balance a check book, know when and when can not go in debt. I'm sure that the people in our government also can balance their own personal accounts. so why can't they balance the country's budget?

There are many reasons for that. The congress wants to keep on with its spending on many different programs that will bring them votes from the small minorities. such as expanding entitlement programs for people that  are not even entitled to anything. I will include in this the following;

• People who are here illegally in this country who use the system.
• People who are using the system in anyway that would not work in a pie shop tasting pies.
• People who have babies one after another and never give it a second thought about providing for them, because the government picks up the tab.
• People who get grants and loans from the government who are not really qualified, or who will never pay the government back.
•  Giving to other nations that hate and despise everything this nation stands for.
• The list could go on and on, but I think the reader gets the over all picture.

The people need to remove, get rid of, and do away with career politicians who have caused this problem. We need to elect responsible people who will listen to the voters and not about their private agenda. We also need to say no to the "Obama Change" and vote him out of office. Another four years of this man and our country will not survive. We will be a third world nation and that my friends is what Obama wants!

Tea Party Or Is It Terrorist

Vice President Biden said Monday that fiscal conservatives “acted like terrorists” during the debt-ceiling debate. Biden's cutting remarks and slurs went along with the statement from from Micheal Doyle a democrat from Pennsylvania ,Who said  “We have negotiated with terrorists. This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.” Comparing conservatives to violent extremists was a low moment even for a politician who is famous for trackless words and actions. Being upset and a  little frustration from the Democratic is very understandable, but for them to use such words against other Americans who do not hold the same views as they do is not conceivable in most Americans minds. They have had their way to long and now they see a change on the the way and they do not like it. 


While the liberals congressmen kept the spending, like the Balanced Budget Amendment from being pasted they are sure lost for now on any kind of tax hikes. Part of the back and forth contest came down to whether liberals believed fiscal conservatives would refuse to compromise on taxes even if it meant causing an economic meltdown. The Democrats who believed that the Tea Party could not bring some sort of change about were fooled for once! They got a taste of The average American that has had enough of Washington's way and their out of control spending. New ways and new ideas for getting new taxes pasted will be on the table as soon as the Democrats returns from their August recess. Until the liberals in congress get serious about cutting government spending, and stop increasing  taxes, we as Americans will still be in danger of a unbalanced budget and a government in default!


Although the Tea Party movement is not, as a political party yet, they are still a group to be reckoned with!  People like John Paul, Sara Palin, Michele Bachmann, and  Dick Armey will be around for sometime to come as the Tea Party grows everyday! Without a well defined plan, how can the American people trust Congress to make the right decisions to curb the overspending, eliminate the deficit, and begin to pay down our massive debt of $14.4 trillion and still counting? there has to be a game plan! Obama showed, once again, that he refuses to put forth an actual plan, written down, in detail, to keep our country from going bankrupt. He just keeps on spending. I truly believe, along with a lot of other people, that he wants this country to fail so he can put forth his own form of government, which by the way is communist. 


This issue about all the spending in Washington is no longer about Democrats or Republicans. It is about the future of our Country! The  politicians, that are in office now, have no credibility, what so ever, when it comes to cutting the out of control spending. Their political careers, big paychecks, and their big retirement packages are more important than prosperity of our country and those people that they represent, and by the way the people who put them, in Washington.


I'm not a Republican or Democrat, an African America, Chinese American, Mexican American, I'm a American. I'm a person that calls it like it is and this country is nor hitting on much from Obama right on down to the lowest in congress. If that makes me a racist, a terrorist, or some sort of criminal, then so be it., because, as with the majority of Americans, my country comes first before any of the for mentioned things. It is time to get rid of these career dead heads who will not listen to the American people and put new leadership in congress and the White House that will!

WASHINGTON: The Blame Game

Obama is fond of saying that he inherited this mess, that our country is in. Let's agree with him. BUT, he did not inherit it from George Bush, as he wants Americans to believe. He inherited it from Pelosi and Harry Reid and the liberals who controlled Congress from 2007 to 2009 when Obama was sworn in as president. When Pelosi and Reid took power, unemployment was 4.6%. It has only gone up since they took control. It is now over nine percent. They oversaw the failure of

Fannie and Freddie (They were insisting that they were solid until the day they failed) which undercut the housing market...which undercut the economy. 

For all the blame they want to throw at Bush (and some of it justified), the Bush tax cuts that the Democrats's rail against kept the economy growing through 9/11 and through Katrina. Both unemployment and inflation were low and the economy producing new jobs at a rate high enough to sustain the low unemployment numbers.

All that only changed when Pelosi and Reid took power in 2007. Obama inherited a mess alright...he inherited it from Pelosi and Reid and one thing is for sure he's only made things worse.

TSA INVASIVE SEARCHES

Are you familiar with the restraints the Fourth Amendment places on the government? The Fourth Amendment bans “unreasonable searches” and requires “probable cause” before the government can search citizens without

their permission. Given what the TSA is doing at airports nationwide, it would appear they are either in violation of the probable cause restriction in the constitution or woefully inadequate in their efforts to prevent future terrorist attacks on the airlines. let me explain: If possession of an airline ticket gives the government probable cause

to invasively search you…then their efforts to protect the flying public are woefully inadequate since they aren’t searching all passengers. However, if possession of an airline ticket does NOT constitute probable cause for a warrant less search, the current policies violate our basic constitutional guarantee against unreasonable searches.

Either way the current system is flawed. We need to develop a credible threat profile to identify high risk passengers. Somehow I doubt any credible terrorist profile would include grandmothers, 6 year olds or

Kansas farmers.

TEA PARTY FANATICS

The vice president called then terrorist.  I guess that must mean, for the DC establishment, anyone who promises not to raise taxes in their election campaign…wins election and actually goes to Washington and keeps their campaign pledge are radical extremists and terrorist. How quaint, just like "Mr. Smith Goes to

Washington". On Fox, O’Reilly the other night compared them to the violent 1960’s bomb throwers and warned that they may take the country down by refusing to raise the debt ceiling if any new taxes are included in the

legislation. I guess I missed the violent part of the current Tea Party Revolution. Well, these patriots are in good company. Leading up to the American Revolution King George the Third and the British noble class said the

same thing about our founding fathers…they’re radical extremists and they are risking the future of the throne.

Hang in there patriots…the last time we rattled the elite this badly, it worked out pretty well, don't you think?

POLITICAL ELITES AND THE TEA PARTY

Have you noticed our noble class in Washington doesn’t think much of their newly elected colleagues from the Tea Party? Our “noble” class is made up of the members of both parties for whom a principled stand is never allowed to get in the way of their re-election Few of these establishment politicians have much use for the new

Congressmen. Our noble class of Lords and Ladies is used to telling the new guys to sit down and don’t talk unless spoken to by your superiors. The problem is, this new class does not believe they have any superiors…only seniors…and out of touch seniors at that. It seems this new class won’t take orders…won’t be bullied and won’t play by the “good old boys” rules. It is reported that Lord Cornwallis upon losing at Yorktown said,

“How could it have come to this…they are simply rabble?" When Queen Pelosi handed her gavel to John Boehner, she must’ve been thinking, “How could it have come to this…they are simply Astro turf?”

THE TAX INCREASE POLLING SCAM

Did you hear the president recently suggest that 80% of Americans want their taxes increased? Although his 80% number was challenged (this president would not intentionally mislead us…would he?). It is true that some recent

polling has shown a disproportionate percentage of Americans favor tax increases as part of a “balanced solution” to our debt/deficit problems. Of course, they were responding to the following question…”Would you favor increasing other people’s taxes to fix the nation’s debt and deficit problems?” Of course, the question was not quite that biased…but do not forget that nearly 50% of all Americans pay no income taxes. So, asking

people paying no income taxes if they support raising income tax rates is the same as asking them if they want other people’s taxes increased. Is it any wonder that liberal polls without any filters as to whether or not the person answering the question is actually a taxpayer shows a bias towards a tax increase? Any poll surveying only likely voters…meaning people paying taxes…shows an entirely different result.

THE FUZZY MATH

Question: When does $250,000 equal $1,000,000? Answer: When Obama says it does. Again, in his latest effort to rally support for more taxes the Obama resurrected the class warfare argument by insisting that though his balanced approach to deficit and debt reduction would require at least $1.2T in new taxes, no new taxes would be imposed on anyone in America making less than $250,000…but then he went on to claim he was only after the evil, selfish millionaires and billionaires among us. So in his fantasy world, by his fuzzy math, anyone making $250,000 is a millionaire. What we have is a double the talk President! This makes him the poster child for what passes in public schools as self esteem math. You know…self esteem math …where we don’t want to make anyone feel badly about themselves, so if they say two plus two equals five and we don’t correct them for fear of damaging their fragile egos. AND, this is the man who is asking us to trust him to balance our government’s books? 

DIVIDED BY THE DIS-FUNCTIONAL

Did you hear the President recently admit that his first two years of liberal government was unpopular and dysfunctional? I could not believe I actually heard the President admit that. Last November’s election was a referendum on his government. He said, “Last November Americans voted for divided government; they did not vote for dysfunctional government. For once he was absolutely right. The first two years of his liberal government (while he controlled both Houses of Congress) proved to be so dysfunctional that Americans rose

up in unprecedented numbers to remove him from absolute power. He never once produced a federal budget. He bribed his way to Obamacare and produced deficits larger than all the previous presidents in history combined and that my friends is the definition of dysfunctional! With last November’s election results, we have established a small beachhead against unsustainable deficits and intolerable government regulations. Michael Barone wrote this week, that conservatives need to win two consecutive elections to establish a mandate for their

smaller government policies. That makes November 2012 critical. So make sure you vote!

AMERICA’S GREAT COMPROMISERS 

To make his case for the great debt ceiling compromise…which means trillions of dollars in new taxes…the President said that we rarely remember the men throughout our history that stood on principle…only

the ones who compromised. So we must eliminate our founding fathers from our list for standing on the principle to give us our freedom. We must eliminate Abraham Lincoln from our list for standing on principle for ending slavery. And of course that requires we eliminate a long list of principled Americans…John Paul Jones, Nathan Hale…Andrew Jackson…Teddy Roosevelt…Rosa Parks…Martin Luther King from our list of heroes.

Instead, according to our President, they must be replaced with a new list containing the great compromisers in our history…but for the life of me, I can’t think of one. If the President is right, then George Bush would have been swept to re-election by popular acclaim after he compromised on his famous

pledge, “Read my lips, no new taxes!” JFK wrote “Profiles in Courage”…Obama’s book should be,

“Profiles in Compromise”

What The Heck Is Wrong Here?

Social Security An "Entitlement?
Remember, not only did you contribute to Social Security but your employer did too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only 30K over your working life, that’s close to $220,500. If you calculate the future value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer’s contribution) at a simple 5% (less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working (me) you'd have $892,919.98. If you took out only 3% per year, you receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years, and that’s with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you'd have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month. The folks in Washington have pulled off a bigger  scheme than Bernie Madoff ever had.

No way is social security a Entitlement,  Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!! Congressional benefits, which are also known as, free health care, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call our retirement entitlements!  Emergency Rooms for their general health care at just one hospital the cost to taxpayers totaled over 25million a year!!! Someone please tell me what the HECK's wrong with all people that run this country!

This country is broke and can't help our own Seniors,Veterans,Orphans, and the Homeless 
In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, and Turkey. And now Pakistan home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!! Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries! They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of money.Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans. AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter,children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc. YET....They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up withfood,water,tents,clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies. Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries

Ignorance: Or Is It The Plan?

Some people can't decide if President  Barack Hussein Obama, in his 2012 budget request, is either ignorant of the depth and seriousness of this country's fiscal crisis or just doesn't care. Sad to say he is neither ignorant and the caring part, well, He only cares for his own agenda and that is destroying America as we know it and replacing it with a socialist (communist) government with him as its head. He is working over time to do this. Piece by piece, day by day, Obama is destroying our country. He now has his own private security force and it is only answerable to him. This was passed as an attachment to the health care bill. Sly way of doing it! He has his czars (three times as many as other presidents) all lined up. These czars are never elected or passed a senate hearing but can make decisions about how our Country is governed. A better name for them is "The Shadow Government". He has no firm position on the deficit and is still blaming everything on Bush. Is this the change that he promised the American people?

He submitted a request to Congress for $3.73 trillion for FY 2012. The president has proposed to cut $1.1 trillion over a decade, which amounts to about 2.9 percent of projected spending. 

Loads of paper money is being printed by the Federal Reserve's printing press. At some point in the not too distant future, this spigot of cash will rapidly become just a trickle as inflation forces the Fed to stop buying Treasury bonds, and foreigners recognize the inevitability of American default, because of the worthless dollar, and cease lending (or demand a massive interest premium, which we can't afford to pay either). A person has to wonder, how a man like this could get into the highest office in our land. He has deceived the American people, especially the ones who voted for him.  

This country is running a real risk of default on the national debt, which is of course only a fraction of the unfunded liabilities we owe to Medicaid, Social Security and, most especially, Medicare; those entitlements are estimated to be between $60- and $100-trillion short. President Obama's budget request does little to address our impending bankruptcy. Why is this? The answer is he wants this country to go bankrupt so he can merge as the savior, the king, but the reality of it all is he wants to be the dictator of this country! 

 The failing economy and the possibility of a default  makes Obama either ignorant or indifferent to the day of reckoning that is right around our corner, or else that makes him a person that knows exactly what he is doing. I think he knows what he is doing. Which is worse, I'm not sure ignorance is. Regardless, Obama is destroying this country. That is plan to see even if you are blind!
