A Comment To Far

This is a response to an article by Donald Rae in the Star Democrat.

Donald Rae and his “ammunition kill people” article don't make much sense. Where does he get his logic? I have to disagree with his article. I do not disagree with him personally, because as Americans we have that right to form our own opinions. But his article I certainly do not agree with. Where do people come up with these ideas? The ammunition has to be put in a weapon and the weapon must be operated by a person for it to go off and kill or wound somebody. You can put a rifle on a porch with ammunition in it and the mailman can deliver mail, The garbage man can pick up the mail, the paperboy can bring you the newspaper, and the neighbor can come over, but the bullet remains in the gun, the gun remains on the porch and there it will sit until it is unloaded and carried in the house or until someone picks it up and uses it. I do not advocate leaving a loaded gun on the porch but only as an example to the reader. A lawnmower will not cut the grass by its self, most cars will not go down the road by their self, a bow with an arrow is no good if there is no one pulling the string on the bow back and releasing it. A knife will not cut someone unless it is in the hands of someone. The point is a person must put a bullet in the firearm and aim it and pull the trigger before it will go off. We must put the effort of this great issue into perspective. It is the person behind the gun and the ammunition in the gun that is the problem. We have two types of people behind those guns and ammunition. We have an honest citizen who uses his firearm for sports, hunting, and home defense as well for the defense of our country if need be. All the ammunition in my 60 years of hunting that I have put into a gun has never gone off unless I pulled the trigger. Then there are the people who have evil in their hearts for their fellow man. The government can take all the guns, ammunition, close all the gun and ammunition factories down but there is still that person who has in their heart to kill, murder, maim, and hurt their fellow man. As I have said before in other articles,  "Evil does not obey laws."

EVIL DOES NOT OBEY LAWS

The United States will never create enough laws to control the evil of killing another human being because evil and evil people do not now and will never obey laws or any rules imposed upon them by the government. What makes anyone think evil people will obey government laws when they will not obey God's law- Thou shall not murder. We will always have mass killings, murders, and the breaking of the law because we live in an evil world.  All the laws on the books or laws that will be on the books will not stop evil. When a person has his mindset on an evil purpose he will carry out that evil purpose one way or the other with whatever is at hand to do his or her evil deed. We are already hearing from the liberals and the far left after this latest mass shooting in Texas wanting more gun control laws and for what? The only thing more gun laws will do is hamper the honest decent man, who by the way, respects and abides by the gun control laws. We already have more gun control laws on the books in this country that do absolutely nothing, but yet we want more laws or better yet to take away the guns of everybody, including honest law-abiding citizens. When all the guns are gone and we become a people who depend totally 100% on the government we will then be servants of the government instead of the government being a servant of the people. Some people will not get that. After the firearms are all gone or confiscated by the government what will be the next on the list for the future mass murder to use to commit his evil act? Without naming several I will let the reader think for himself. Do not let the government and some anti-gun groups make you think or believe it is the gun that is the cause of our problems. It is evil in the hearts of degenerate people that cause the problems. People who could care less about any law or what is morally right.
This country's policymakers, journalists, and the general public look to psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, and related disciplines as sources of certainty in the face of the often-incomprehensible terror and loss that mass shootings inevitably produce. This is especially the case in the current political moment when relationships between shootings and mental illness often appear to be the only points upon which otherwise divergent voices in the contentious national gun debate agree. Our country and even the world is going down a broad road to destruction. After all the gun laws, the psychology, and many other programs that have been tried and have failed we need to turn to the ONE who will heal this land and put us back on the right course. The bottom law is this: When we obey God's laws the evils of this country will go away.

Maryland's Gun Control

The state of Maryland is at the top of all the states with restrictive policies as it relates to law-abiding citizens obtaining concealed carry permits. For example when I was Police Chief in St.Michaels, Maryland (about 40 years ago) I was a sworn police officer and was responsible for all the men in the police department and the safety of the town, but when I wanted to buy a handgun I had to go thru the same background check and the same waiting period, as the person on the street every time I wanted to by a gun, which was not very often. I was trusted to wear a sidearm while on duty and a concealed weapon off duty, but not to buy a gun. This policy might have changed over the years since that time but that is the way it was when I was a police officer.
To go another step further when I left law enforcement I could not get a concealed weapons permit even though I had numerous threats on my life by people I arrested and sent to prison. I did my duty in keeping the people safe but my safety afterwards was not important to the State of Maryland.
Maryland is also way down the list on serving out stiff punishments for crimes committed with guns by offenders and repeat offenders. While they cannot agree on how to solve the issue of mass shootings, one would think that the murder rate on the streets of Baltimore would be an easier fix. The same is true in cities across the country. Where is the left's outrage on this issue? Why do they not put their attention on demanding stiffer penalties related to crimes committed with guns instead of making more gun laws that never work? Maryland HB 1302 was recently passed by the state legislature. It provides far-reaching implications for the state to confiscate guns from peoples without the financial ability to defend themselves in court. I know because I read the bill, and while I disagree with much of that newly proposed law it will probably get signed into law this October.
The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution says, “The People’s right to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” However, in the people’s republic of Maryland, overrun by the left and a Republican Governor who is good on some things but not on gun laws. Their only centre of attention is on slowly taking away at our constitutional right to bear arms.

The Profound Issue of Our Times

Recently in a local news paper in the letter to the editor section the following letter appeared and following is my response to the letter.

Guns. The profoundest issue of our times. And why such near universal misapprehension and indifference to the most supreme of all human values, the reality and meaning of life itself? Life, the majesty of existence. How do we forgive ourselves so naively for our careless, uncomprehending ingratitude, when the greatest of all our treasures, beloved life, so tough yet so fragile, so valiant and indispensable, is cavalierly extinguished daily, blindly, mindlessly, the world over? Guns. The paramount reckoning.  Star Democrat News Paper  {July 16, 2018)
              __________________________________________
I disagree agree with a statement made by Georgie Morris Garbisch in the Monday addition to the Letters to the editor section.  The profound issue of our time is not guns. Liberals make it their issue. I do agree with the statement she made in which she said Life is the most supreme of all human values and for one I think it should be taken very seriously. I agree that Life as we know it is taken away daily and it is a shame. But truthfully the letter was not about life but about guns as being the culprit that takes away life. Guns do kill, but so does knives, boxcutters, ice picks, screwdrivers, and many other things. The problem is you never hear about them on national TV or the news. For example, in the state of Idaho, last week nine children at a party were stabbed with a knife and very little was heard about it. If a gun was used we would still be hearing about it. How many murders and killings happen in our major cities by other means than guns? They happen all the time but we never hear about it because it is not gun involved. There is a paramount reckoning coming to this country for all the killings gun related or by other means. The gun is not the most dangerous issue in America today. The most dangerous place in America today is the womb.

There are more babies killed by abortion a day than all other combined killings and that includes guns. The number of abortions reported by the Guttmacher Institute in the U.S. for 2014 is 926,200. This equates to 2,538 abortions each day. Induced Abortion in the United States . This is so staggering when you think about it. Close to a million babies are killed a year by abortion in America, but to the writer of the Star Democrat article the profound issue of our times is guns.

The Annapolis Tragedy

I read part of this article in THE STAR DEMOCRAT newspaper, in the letters to the editor section, and because it was such a good article I just wanted to add my thoughts to what was a  very good piece of writing by Craig Willis.
Thank heavens we live in Maryland, a state with some of the toughest gun control laws in the country. I for one feel much safer. Maryland is one of only six states to receive an A+ rating from the Gifford’s Law Center for its tough gun control laws. Yet these laws couldn’t prevent the recent tragedy in Annapolis where several newspaper reporters were killed by a shotgun toted by a man holding a grudge, our hearts go out to the victims and their families.
In the days just after the mass shooting at the newspaper in Annapolis, the media is almost silent, many of the papers not issuing follow-up stories as the facts of this case don’t support the left’s false narrative. As most Americans know most newspapers have sided with the left and their fake news. If you are a conservative you must search for the truth. In the STAR DEMOCRAT, the follow-up articles on shootings have been so unbelievable. Most of them talk about how newspaper reporters are right there with our police, firefighters, and soldiers in harm’s way. At one time that might have been so but now most of the papers are” fake news outlets” not giving you all the facts.
For example, any state like Maryland, with all these tough gun laws, is ineffective in stopping any of this senseless violence, but you hear nothing of this in the news. Baltimore was recently announced to be the most dangerous city in the country, having 135 gun-related deaths to date. Also, the Annapolis tragedy was enacted by a person who had a longstanding feud with the newspaper. Original reports by numerous left of center media outlets blamed President Trump due to his attacks on fake news! Now we find out that the gunman was entangled in a long-term legal feud with the paper and didn’t prevail in his lawsuit against them. But the left and the fake news outlets want to blame President Trump.
“Back in the day,” Cronkite, Reasoner, and Brinkley would have backed up their story with facts before airing any report, because, “that’s the way it was,” period.
Finally, this shooter used a shotgun, also not fitting the narrative that banning assault rifles is the Holy Grail of cures. Sad to say many a person feeds into this deceiving cure for all the gun problems thanks to the help of fake news.
Many Republican voters in the state of Maryland are now waiting to see which way Larry Hogan, the governor of Maryland goes related to siding with the left and creating and supporting even more stringent gun laws. These laws clearly only take constitutional rights away from law-abiding citizens. In November, regardless of your party affiliation, vote for the rule of law and preserving the Constitution

Working Toward The Right Solution

In Sundays Star Democrat newspaper Mr. Pifer wrote a very interesting article that for the most part I totally disagree with. It sounded like it came straight from the Democrat handbook. The rhetoric is always the same, no matter if it comes from Democrats or Republicans. Each party has their ideas about The NRA, The Guns, and violence. The Democrats, for the most part, want guns gone. They would have you believe it is the gun that causes the evil when people are needlessly shot, Every time we turn around we have more gun laws passed and for what? Some of the largest cities in our country have not only the strictest gun laws but also the highest gun-related deaths. So why are we passing more gun laws? The Republicans would have you to believe it is an American right to own and bear arms. They are correct in saying that because it is true, but it does not give anyone the right to just go out on the street and kill our kids in school and people at their workplace. People like this do not need guns. They do not even need to be on the street. If we wait on the people in THE SWAMP better known as Washington to solve the gun problem it will never get solved and it will only grow worse. All we will ever hear is the same talk from both parties.
The solution to this problem starts in the home at an early age. The home, as I have said many times before, is the building blocks of this country. We need to put fathers back in the homes. The preachers and pastors must take a stand in their churches for what is right. The value system of this country must be grounded, as it once was, in the Word of God. As a people, we are heading down the broad road that is leading to the destruction of this country. We cannot want peace and happiness but do everything that goes against it.
We cannot have gun control or gun safety on our streets when in just about every home there are violent video games being played. Arguments between the kids about who killed the most people in the games. We are teaching our kids to kill starting in the home by letting them play these games. We have kids who will not obey their parents and do what they want to do. When there is no respect in the home how can there be respect for other people? We did not get to this place overnight and we will not stop this violence overnight. But we must start by not only following the laws of this great country but we must take heed and follow God’s Laws

When is it UnAmerican

Our country was founded on principles that all men are created equal. Our founding fathers were visionaries and sought to assure all citizens the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. However, today we have groups that will deny others the right to life, deny others their liberty, and only think they themselves should be able to pursue happiness. Friends, so much of what I see in our country today crushes these values America was built upon.
When a senator can shed tears on the senate floor because there is a policy to vet refugees from terror sponsored countries but remains dry eyed when millions of innocent babies are murdered in the womb—that is un-American.
When our homeless go hungry while illegal aliens can come into this country and receive food stamps, welfare and shelter—that is Un-American
When our elderly must choose between eating or buying their medications while abortions and transgender surgeries are paid for with tax payer money—that is Un-American.
When our troops go without proper equipment while celebrities and athletes protest our country and national anthem—that is un-American.
When our veterans go without benefits that were promised but billions of dollars are given to countries that hate us—that is Un-American.
When Christian companies are forced to compromise their faith and values by serving same sex weddings while other businesses can say, “if you support traditional marriage, don’t shop here.”—that is Un-American.
When radical groups like BLM and anti fa can riot, burn cities and kill or injure people but citizens are prosecuted and persecuted for speaking out against them—that is Un-American.
When a black criminal disobeys law enforcement and is shot by police and there is a public outcry while police officers are shot everyday for doing their jobs and media is silent—that is Un-American.
When the media takes it upon itself to slant the news and tell us what to think instead of reporting the news and trusting us to decide for ourselves what to think—that is Un-American.
When liberal head explodes at the use of a word in describing a third world country while cities in this country resemble these third world countries and nothing is being done to improve the lives of citizens in these cities— that is Un-American.
When a political party would rather protect 8,000 illegal aliens than protect the citizens of this country and even go as far to threaten a government shut-down and deprive the elderly and military of their money— that is Un-American.
It appears that some of our leaders are more concerned about themselves and the special interest groups that has bought them  than the citizens that elected them and that is not only Un-American but unacceptable to the the citizens of this country that are counting on the leadership.
Friends, I have been told that, as a Christian, I should not be political. I am not a political person but what I see goes beyond politics. It is now about our survival as a country and the fabric of our way of life. I once read “All it takes for evil to spread is for good men to do nothing.” I am only trying to do my small part to stop the spread of evil.
As always you are free to disagree but I am free to express my opinion. May God bless you all. . Just saying

Armed teenage heroes

During the 2016 presidential election cycle, Hillary Clinton professed that half of Donald Trump’s supporters belong in a “basket of deplorables.” Based upon her statement, it may be reasonable to conclude that Hillary’s followers, in the liberal wing of politics, find that those voters who oppose gun control on purchases by citizens less than 21 years of age should also be thrown into the basket of deplorables. However, the history of our nation expresses a strong and vibrant case for preteens and teens owning and using guns in a responsible manner. The most glaring examples are noted during times of military conflict when this age group rises to the occasion of preserving liberty and uses weapons of war in protection of our republican form of government.
In the Revolutionary War, Jeremiah Levering, age 12, along with hundreds of other soldiers 16 years and younger, fought the British to secure our freedom from the King of England.
Joseph Burger, a 14-year-old Union Army soldier who fought in the American Civil War, received the United States’ highest award for bravery during combat, the Medal of Honor. Burger also received a battlefield commission to the rank of captain at the age of 15.
During World War II, the Alaska National Guard was called up into the Army of the United States. As a result, the territorial governor, in seeking to protect Alaska’s border, called for local citizens to rise to the occasion to defend against an invasion by Japan. With their own guns in hand, citizens of all ages, including preteens and teens, organized into a 6,300-member volunteer militia known as the Eskimo Scouts/Alaska Territorial Guard. When the Japanese invaded Alaska, bombing Dutch Harbor and occupying four of the Aleutian Islands, it was the bravery exhibited by teenagers, preteens as young as 12, and others in the Eskimo Scouts which resulted in repelling the Japanese through combat operations.
Bringing this type of citizen militia closer to our home, the governor of Maryland, in response to the absence of the Maryland National Guard, called on citizens, using their own firearms, to form into “Minuteman” units. In a 1942 photograph of the fourteen Tilghman Island Minutemen shown training with rifles, one of those volunteers was a young teenager.
Additionally, there were many heroes in World War II who were teenagers. Among them was a 16-year-old Marine, Bernard Hoffendaffer, who fought at the Battle of Iwo Jima and after the war became a Methodist preacher serving six churches in West Virginia; Audie Murphy, the most decorated soldier in World War II, who at age 19 was awarded the Medal of Honor and after the war became a Hollywood legend; Calvin Leon Graham, who at age 12 was the youngest to serve in the U.S. Navy, received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals for his bravery and wounds received during the Battle of Guadalcanal; and George H.W. Bush, a bomber pilot, who at 19 years of age was the youngest Naval aviator in history and was wounded in combat. Bush later became President of the United States.
During the Korean War, David Hackworth, at 15 years of age, was given a battlefield commission to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
During the Viet Nam War, David A. Christian, a 19-year-old 2nd Lieutenant led many search and destroy combat missions. Wounded seven times, Lieutenant Christian was among the most decorated soldiers of that war.

People Still Do Not Get It

This article is in response to Mary Dolan’s guest comment (March 30th) in the Star Democrat. While I do agree with her about there is a problem with fire arms in this country I disagree that school children are the ones to handle it. We read several articles in different papers and on the news channels about kids protesting gun violence at their schools, the capital, and other places. For the most part these are the same kids we read about in the papers and across in the news media that were eating Tide-Pods and the government wanting to solve that problem by changing how the product was packaged. How many of these kids even know what they are protesting. How many of them can even tell you what the constitution is and what it is for. How many can tell you if we live in a republic or a democracy.  I am sure some can, but not that many. We have violence all across our nation in many different forms. We always want to blame the problems of our country on everything but the true cause, In other words the root of the problem. The problem really goes back to the same kids that are protesting, maybe not all of them but the biggest majority of them. The problem is how they are raised.

To make this country great there must be building blocks and a good foundation. The foundation of any nation is the family unit. The family unit has kids raising their own self and that is not the way it should be. They need structure, guidance, and being taught right from wrong. You can have all the Great Societies you want but without a family structure, and a good foundation it will amount to nothing. We have so many violent video games today that are front line examples why some kids do what they do. Hollywood does not help much either.

More kids die today from drugs, texting while driving, and alcohol than from these school shootings but it is only when guns are brought into the mix is there mass protest. What about the bullying problem in our schools today. It is a problem, but it is a well hid problem. But it is there. It is foolish for anyone to think that drugs, guns, cell phones and cars are the problem. It is the adult, teenager, or young person who is behind those things that is the problem. To prove the point let us look at it this way. A person left his shotgun on his porch, the mailman delivered the mail, kids were in the street playing, the garbage truck picked up the trash, and no one got shot. The gun was still sitting on the porch. Or how about this, a teenager was driving down the road with cell phone on the seat not being used and no one was killed or injured.

Why is there no protesting the FBI for not acting on reports they received about the shooter at the Florida school, the sheriff department who received 39 calls over a period of time about the same shooter, and the most scary is the school system that know who and what this kid was and did nothing over the years to help him, finally expelling him. The whole problem and event should have been investigated before the fact not after the fact.

My thoughts are there is more behind the protests by these teenagers than meets the eye. A person must wonder is there some other reason behind all this and are the teenagers just being used. To set the record straight from the start I do not own any guns, I do not belong to the NRA, and I am not a Republican or Democrat. I am a independent person that can think for myself.

Just The Facts

Remember the old TV program “DRAGNET” with Jack Webb? One of his famous lines was “Just the facts”. So let us deal with just the facts today in this article.

There are so many articles in the local newspaper lately about gun control that would make a person think that there is an agenda by the left to remove guns from this country. I never realized or knew how big this movement was until I read several different articles in the paper. There are never are any articles about pro-gun just anti Gun. People, especially teenagers, will protest without knowing all the facts, without even knowing why they are protesting. Some teenagers were asked what they were protesting and they could not even answer. They only protest what they hear or see and because other people are doing it, without ever checking the facts. These teenagers are better known as the Tide-Pod generation. It is called the dumbing down of our kids. Before they protest about anything, including guns, they should be required to study the Constitution of the United States.

For example, we had school kids all over the country [on a certain day] walking out of school protesting the recent shootings in schools. I wonder how many of these students would have protested if the protest were held not during school hours. The media was all over the story about kids walking out in protest but nothing was said about some kids in schools having a walk in instead of a walk out. What more can you expect from a liberal press? There was some difference of opinion over the issue of gun control and the violence caused by these shootings but the American people read only one side of the issue. How in just a short time could there have been such a walkout all across this nation? The answer is, it was planned and put into effect as soon as the school shooting happened by liberals and progressives who want to see the confiscation of guns in this country.

At one school kids were so unruly during the walkout they destroyed an American flag which is all a part of the liberal agenda and then tried to assault a police officer. The very flag they destroyed represents the very means that allows them to protest.

They were protesting, if that was what you could call it, and most of them knew nothing of what they were protesting. By that I mean the deep roots of why they were protesting are not being brought to the front. I am not afraid to say there is a bigger issue behind all of this and it is not about gun violence. There was a picture in the paper of a girl holding a sign that said: “Eighteen Century laws can’t regulate 21st-century weapons”. Down through the history of this country, our constitution has done a pretty good job so far. What law or amendment does she want to go next? These signs are right out of the communist playbook. After the guns go the liberals will have the Holy Bible gone and their version will replace it.

How about the fact that there are 11 kids a day killed in this country a day because of texting on their cell phones while driving. That is over 4000 thousands kids a year being killed by texting and driving. I guess we should ban cell phones from kids and while we are at it automobiles too because they are part of the blame for this sad waste of human life. Another sign held by another kid said; ”we want education without fear of annihilation”. I also would like that same thing whenever I drive to the store or drive to church without the fear of being killed by a teenager texting while driving.

The sad truth here is most kids are being dumb down by a liberal agenda that are using gunning violence as a platform to promote their agenda. It is sad when liberals’ have to use our kids to promote their communist agenda. It is the liberals’ in this country that are trying to mobilize our kids for their cause. More time should be spent on teaching the history of this country and what it stands for. But what is happening is some of our histories is being deleted out of our history books and our school curriculum. What percentage of kids in this country even know what the Constitution is and what it stands for, sad to say a very few if any.

The issue is not about gun control. It is about controlling a nation of free people by taking away the only means of keeping ourselves free. Some people will laugh at that statement. But it is the truth. History is trying to repeat itself right in our backyards and most people cannot even see it. We only need to look at Russia, Germany, China, Cambodia, Cuba, and many other nations. Look at what happened to them. The guns were taken and then the real slaughter began. Millions were murdered because they protested the governments of these countries. This is the same road America is going down. A gentleman from Scotland wrote, to the local newspaper and said This; America has no need of people running around with guns. He also stated we have a most capable military to protect us. This is true. We have the finest military to protect us from all outside threats but not from the Trojan horse which is getting bigger in our country.  That is the reason for the second amendment and the reason for our Constitution.

Lastly, I read an article in the local paper about a church that was having a prayer vigil against gun violence. That may be fine, but the church [all churches] needs to go above and beyond this. The sad thing is their mind is dull and they are being deceived. Any Bible believing church knows there is more to be done than just a prayer vigil against gun violence. The roots of the problem go a lot deeper than gun violence. It is called THE SIN PROBLEM; which is an all-inclusive word for Rebellion against God and His Word. The history of the world, as eyed through the Bible and some other good history books, plainly show the fact that when God is in control the nation prospers and when God is not in control there is evil, violence, and every sin a person can imagine. My friends God is not in control of America. We have forsaken Him. We as a people have turned our backs on him and now we are reaping what we have sown.  America is now reaping for the killing of millions of unborn children in the womb, the removing of anything that pertains to God from our schools and government buildings, and the promoting of homosexual lifestyles in the schools and in government, which clearly are against God’s laws. Our government and sad to say most of our churches are falling short of preaching and upholding the truth and the Constitution of this country.

It is true that the United States is 3rd in murders throughout the world, but if you remove Chicago, Washington, DC., Detroit, St. Louis, and New Orleans look what happens. The United States comes in at 189th out of 193 countries in the entire world. And what is more amazing is the five cities mentioned here have the most strict gun control laws in the nation. Now please tell me about people wanting to pass more gun control laws. The true problem in this country is not the need for more laws. It is THE SIN PROBLEM.

Surrounded By Stupid People

Over the course of my life I have seen a lot of things happen to this country and before my time I read of a lot of things that do not make much sense.
For example before my time there was a period when you could not buy alcohol. That was called “The Great Prohibition” and all across America you could not buy alcohol, legally. The federal government spent millions to stop the sale while thousands of people, including government officials and local police departments, secretly joined in the drinking of the alcohol.  Millions of dollars were made in the selling of the rot gut liquor. In the very end the law was repealed and millions of people and families have suffered and even died. So the “ninety nine bottles of beer on the wall” are still around and still are killing people every day. And not in just small numbers either. Over a hundred years later the government is still working on the problem.
Then along comes the “Wacky Weed” better known as Marijuana and the hard core drugs such as heroin, cocaine, uppers, downers, black beauties, and you name it. There was a crisis then and it is now.  Now it is opioids and Rx Medicines.  The answer for today’s drug problem, so people think, is to take the medicine away from everybody including the people who are under doctor’s care and need the medicine to have any quality of life at all. In other words the good people will pay along with the bad. The only thing being solved is the bad will keep on keeping on with their drug habit and the good people who are under doctors care will suffer with pain because the doctors will not be able to manage their pain anymore. The good will suffer but time will march on.
Now we have the cell phone and texting. We all know that texting and driving do not mix. It is as deadly as drinking and driving. Laws to stop this were passed and still people get killed at an alarming rate while texting as they drive. Will we band cell phones to stop this deadly problem?  I think not. Teenagers and as well some adults will still keep on texting and innocent people will still get killed. So should we ban cell phones.
People, (liberals), in this country all want more gun control. This happens every time there is a shooting. Most of the people doing the complaining are so stupid they do not know the butt from the barrel, but they, along with teen agers who love the taste of tide-pods, want to complain and make the laws that govern our nation.  Some of these people that are protesting, when asked, cannot even tell you what they are protesting. Now tell me, is that not scary? We have idiots, and are surrounded by them that does not know what the left or right hand is doing. We are surrounded by idiots.
We have problems with guns (so they say) and 100s of laws have been passed to stop the gun, but not the idiot with the gun. We have signs in front of our schools calling them a gun free zone. That is as bad as people who put in a certain colored light bulb on their porch to tell other people; “there is no gun here.”  Like I said we are surrounded by idiots.
If the American people do not wake up and see what is happening we are going to lose all our freedoms and we will either be ruled by communist or Muslims who do not care about your freedom or mine. And even more important we must get rid of the idiots in Washington who make these do nothing paper laws and get people elected that will get the job done.

The Democrats Great Society

When I and a lot of you were growing up we were raised by what I think was America’s greatest generation of people. We were taught right, raised right, and made to do right. We knew the meaning of respect no matter where we were, home, in school, church, or just out in public.  That was because we were raised by God believing and God-fearing parents.
With much sadness and heartache, I have watched my generation throw away the gift that was given to them by the great generation which raised them. They have failed to give to their children the ideals and values that were given to them; the values that made this country great. I watched the spoiled brats (no other word for it) of my generation protest and object to military service, protest and rebel against just about everything that was right or good. They gave their peace signs, called for free love but along with that came the beginning of destruction for this country.
They supported slick and greedy politicians that sold them on special rights for certain classes of people when Jesus tells us different in His Holy Word. We are all His children and He sees no certain classes. Red and yellow, black or white we are all precious in His sight.  The same greedy politicians persuaded and convinced women that men were their enemy and that certain crime could be excused because of social barriers. A lot of us watched them buy into a "blame America first" mentality. That was their way of thinking.  Now we can see as their children's children cry for "safe spaces “and ask for socialism and communism to take the place of this great Republic and what it stands for. If they half a brain they could see communism for what it really is.
Unless you are sheltered in the arms of God there are no safe places in this country. They refuse to see Islam for what it is. (EVIL) They do not even know what the inside of a church looks like or who Jesus Christ is. As far as that goes some of them do not know if they are a boy or girl. We are living in a sad and sick world, a fallen world controlled by sick people whose god is Satan.
There are no safe places anymore in this country, Most houses are armed camps because of what is on the outside their doors.. People are not even safe in the House of God. We have to stop being brainwashed by liberals and communist that tells you; “guns kill people.” We must realize that guns don't kill people any more than hammers, baseball, or rocks. We are dealing with mentally ill, demon possessed people, who do not know right from wrong. Look back at the generations of years ago and not to the complainers and the ones who moan and groan in our society today, the ones that advocate insurrection and evil do not know right from wrong. Their minds are warped just like the great cesspool and swamp located in our nation’s capital. They are evil people leading the charge for a new America; one that the government will no longer serve the people, but the people will serve the government.
America has no structural points anymore. The family unit (the building blocks of this country) is just about gone. There are approximately 13.7 million single parents in the United States today, and those parents are responsible for raising 22 million children.  Ever since 1964 when “The Great Society” was put into place people rely on the government for everything. We are talking about able bodied people that have the biggest case of “WHAT YOU GOING TO GIVE ME” in history.  They would rather make babies than keep their pants up and work. The more babies they make the more money they will get from the government.  That may seem harsh but it is the truth. Work boots just do not fit these kinds of people.

Then we have people in Washington that want you to believe it is the government who should raise your kids and not the parents.  Hillary Clinton said it takes a whole village to raise your children.  That is communist to the core. I have said more than once and I will leave you, the reader, with this thought; "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."

We don't need a society of vandals

When demonstrations triggered by the death of George Floyd spread to Philadelphia, vandals defaced a statue outside City Hall of an old whit...
