Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.
General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain
WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National
Anthem is played.The General stated to Obama that according to the
United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec.
171...During rendition of the national anthem,
when the flag is displayed, all present (except
those in uniform) are expected to stand at
attention facing the flag with the right hand
over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand
and Face It".

'Senator' Obama replied: As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides.. There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing." Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of waring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments."

Yes, you read it right. I, for one, am speechless!!!

PRESS 2: For A Handout!

According to a recent Fox Business News Network report American families are now getting more cash hand outs ($2.3 Trillion) from our government than they are paying in taxes. ($2.2 Trillion) . In 2010 American families got more handouts from the federal government since the great depression. For some reason I cannot compare the handouts in the Great Depression to the handouts by our government today. They are two different handouts. The handouts in the Great Depression were to a people who because of no fault of their own were in need of help. The handouts today are not like that.

 According to Fox News “HANDOUTS” includes expanded unemployment benefits, as well as payments for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and stimulus spending, among other things. According to fox News, an estimated 59% of the 308.7 million Americans in this country get at least one federal benefit, according to the Census Bureau, based on 2009 data. An estimated 46.5 million get Social Security; 42.6 million get Medicare; 42.4 million get Medicaid; 36.1 million get food stamps; 12.4 million get housing subsidies; and 3.2 million get Veterans' benefits. And the handouts from the government have been growing. Government cash handouts account for 79% of household growth since 2007, even as household tax payments--for things like the income and payroll tax, among other taxes--have fallen by $312 billion.

As much as I like watching Fox News for their reliable and honest news reporting I have to take issue with their reporting of the facts you see here. The word that I’m having difficulty with is handout. I agree that food stamps, free housing, Free medical, free government paid education and free everything for illegals and the people who will not work is a handout, but to call Social Security, Medicare, and Veteran benefits a handout is just not right! According to several online dictionaries and a couple that I have laying around here the word HANDOUT is defined this way:

•         Aid, gifts, donations, assistance, offerings
•         Something giving free to a needy person
•        Giving clothes, money, or food, to a needy person.

There are many more of the same definitions for handouts, if you look. The trouble is I cannot find any definition in the dictionaries that I looked at that the word “HANDOUT” fits several of the ones that Fox News has listed.

 Whatever our veterans receive from the government is not a handout. When men and women sign on to help protect our country with their time by going in harm’s way, leaving their love ones behind, spilling their blood in foreign lands to keep us free, and even dying, you cannot call anything they get from the government a handout. We are the ones who got the handout from them when they went to war to defend this great country of ours.

Social Security and Medicare are not handouts either. When American citizens have deducted from their pay checks each week a certain amount of money to pay for these benefits when they retire it is no handout. For a example if a person put money into a savings account all there life, when they go to withdraw some of it or all of it, you cannot call that a handout because it is not. That is the same way it is with social security and Medicare. Those benefits are deducted (by law) from a person’s pay check every week.  Also let me add this to the mix; Social Security was signed into law as something the American worker had no say over. The money from the deductions in the paycheck was to go into a separate account to be used only for the workers retirement. It was never the government’s money ,in the first place, for them to give, as a so called handouts. The fact is the government robbed the Social Security account (my money and your money) to help cover some of their runaway spending.  The government is not giving you a handout when you receive your Social Security Check each month. How can they give you something that was not theirs n the first place?

Who are getting the true handouts by our government? That is easy to answer!  Since the great society was started in 1964 by Lyndon Baines Johnson and the Democrat party there has been people who have lived off the backs of the tax payer. Their kids, and their kid’s kids are doing the same thing. Why work when the government gives all the handouts that a person needs to survive and live. Free food, free housing, free college education, free medical, free cell phones, and free cash money to spend. This is a handout!

Then we have the millions of illegals who receive all the benefits of this great nation. Just walk over the border and they get all kinds of handouts. Free everything and the tax payer is paying for all of it. Not only that but our prison systems are becoming crowded by illegals and taxpayers are footing the bill. These people are like termites. They are under minding the very foundation of this country. They are eating away at a system that was never designed for such. This is a handout.

The American government is giving away millions of taxpayer’s dollars to foreign countries to help the poor of those countries. A great jester, but most of it never gets to the masses. It goes to line the pockets of their corrupt leaders who are living like fat cats off of the taxpayers dime. This is a hand out!

The American people have the government, not private enterprise, to thank for their resent wealth growth. Clearly, there are big implications to this. For a example, if the family have the government to thank for their wealth instead of honest work, does that mean those households are more prone to re-elect the corrupt politicians who are pushing for more government handouts? Does the American workforce wear down and erode because it is easier to collect a check from the government than it is to answer to an alarm clock each morning? Can the taxpayers of this country, afford to carry the burden of government-sponsored HANDOUTS?

Harsh: But The Truth

We all know that some people, who live in our country, need some type of government assistance, there is no doubt about it. The problem is the government is handing out assistance to people who just do not need it. This is taking away from the people who really need the help. Honest hard working people who just need some type of help to help them along until they get back on their feet. The politicians use the government assistance programs for the vote that it can generate and the deadbeats use it for a free ride. All at the tax payers expense. To get these programs back on the right track I propose this:

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of the cards that gives cash; no cash for
Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. It grips me to see some one in line, in front of me at the super market who has two carts of food such as steaks, prime rib, shrimp, and you name it, pay for it with food stamps, then out of their Bra comes a big roll of bills to pay for their beer, cigarettes, and all their other goodies. Some of the things in their cart I could not buy all at one time like they do, nor do I carry around a big amount of money.  If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. How do you take control of and do away with paying, (with taxpayers money), for women who have one baby after another and none of the babies have the same father?The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. I can understand one mistake, but not the same one over and over again. no wonder this country is broke! If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. This government with taxpayer's money has spent billions of dollars on free or nearly free housing for people who just do not care. The places are trashed destroyed, and the tax payer has to pick up the bill for repairs. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. You trash or destroy the home provided to you by the government you do not get another one and you will pay or work until you pay back the money for the damages. Your"home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good.” of people who really need help!



Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem. If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices or their "I do not care" attitudes. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND while you are on Government subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes,
that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily
remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Government welfare check.
If you want to vote, then get a job.

AMERICA: A Nation Of Kings

Remember the American Revolution. It was a cause for people to free their self from a king (dictator) who taxed the people beyond what they should have been taxed. There was a tax for everything! There was unbearable laws placed on the backs of the people.  Thousands of people died to make this country free. Why because they wanted to be a free people.

Remember the plantations of the south before the civil war? People lived on these plantations that were slaves, indentured servants, and others who depended on the owners for everything. A place to stay, food that they ate  (if you could call it food) and just about every basic need. Whatever it was, it had to come from the plantation owner. There came a time when all the slaves, indentured servants, and others wanted to be a free people, and rightly so! They wanted the chance to make their own money, live where they wanted to live, eat what they wanted to eat, and just to be a free man. Being free was (noticed I said was)  what made this country great. Tens of thousands of people, both white and black died for the cause of freedom and to be a free man.

The sad thing is, and this is my thought, if you look at it, we are still slaves, servants, and a bought people! We have a great multitude of people who now depend on the government for everything. And for that they are their slaves as far as votes, and standing behind these government officials.  They depend (just like the slaves in the south did long ago,) for food, housing, money to spend, and their very way of life. Sad to say, but it is the truth.  Now how is that being free? It is like all of us, to some degree, live on this big plantation and we are dependent on the plantation owners, or to make it plainer the elected officials from the president right on down.

The government controls every aspect of our lives, and most people do not even know it. We have more taxes in this country than any other country the face of this earth! And the plantation owners are trying to find more taxes and raise the taxes that we already have. But let’s not stop there! The government wants to control businesses, how you heat your home, the banks, gun ownership, and even how you care for your own health. We are also told what is politically correct and what is not.  What a big plantation that we live on!

So where do the American People go from here? How do we get off this plantation?  The only legal, lawful and peaceful way out of our slavery, to the government,  is to put our Constitutional Republic Government back in place, just like it was when this country was founded.  This nation was founded as a republic, but it is not being governed that way. We must elect people who will put our nation with its Republic back under the control of Law and not a band of people who want it their way.  This is a Republic.  In a Republic, government is controlled by Law.  That clearly means that government cannot control the Law.  The Law controls the government. This is not the way it is today in America today.  The people of this country should assign the government with enough power to deal with foreign governments and to assist the people with civil and criminal remedies against trespasses. That is where it should end! Our nation's government is vacant, empty, and not being used as it was intended by our founding fathers. It's up to the American people to re-seat it as it was in the beginning of this nation. One nation (of free people) under God!

A Cowboy Named John

A cowboy named John was overseeing his herd in a remote pasture when suddenly

a brand-new BMW came toward him out of a cloud of dust. The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, Ray Ban sunglasses and YSL tie, leaned out the window and asked the cowboy, "If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, Will you give me a calf?" John looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, "Sure, Why not?"

The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer, connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3 cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.

The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and exports it
to an image processing facility in Hamburg , Germany. Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the image has been processed and the data stored.

He then accesses an MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel
spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives
a response. Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech,
miniaturized HP LaserJet printer, turns to the cowboy and says, "You have
exactly 1,586 cows and calves."

"That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves," says John.
He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on with
amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.
Then John says to the young man, "Hey, if I can tell you exactly what
your business is, will you give me back my calf?"

The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, "Okay, why
not?" “You're an aide in the Obama Administration", says John
"Wow! That's correct," says the yuppie, "but how did you guess that?"

"No guessing required." answered the cowboy. "You showed up here even
though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already
knew, to a question I never asked. You used millions of dollars worth
of equipment trying to show me how much smarter than me you are; and
you don't know a thing about how working people make a living - or
about cows, for that matter. This is a herd of sheep.

Our Ruling Body: INEXCUSABLE

I know that you have probably seen this before,

but some things just have to be said again and again till it registers with all Americans. Then and only then will the laws be changed. And as with all writers I want to add my two cents. I challenge you, as a fellow American, to read this and  have the will, the strength, and the decency to pass it on. Let your voice be heard. Do not just agree with this article, take a stand and tell it to everybody. Our government is out of control. The citizens who are speaking out about our out of control congress are being called many names and the biggest one is terrorist. 

No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay. WhilePoliticians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full pay retirement after serving one term.It just does not make any sense. It is time for all Americans no matter what their race, creed, or social statis is. this concerns all Americans.

THIRTY FIVE SATES HAVE FILED LAWSUITS AGAINST THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT :

Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention. That heavy burden is upon all Americans no matter what state you live in.

For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform… in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn’t seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don’t care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop. If each person that reads this article and will tell  20 other people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message.. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: ”Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States .”

The Real Danger to America!

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can
understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over
there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restorethe necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

• 36 have been accused of spousal abuse.
• 7 have been arrested for fraud.
• 19 have been accused of writing bad checks.
• 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses.
• 3 have done time for assault.
• 71 and let me repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit.
• 14 have been arrested on drug related charges.
• 8 have been arrested for shop lifting.
• 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits.
• 21 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year.

Can you guess which organization this might be? 

It is the 535 members of our United States Congress!

The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year that are designed to keep the rest of us in line!

RESPECT OUR HOUSE!!

The problem with public housing is that the residents are not the owners.
The people that live in the house did not earn the house, but were loaned the property from the true owners, the taxpayers. Because of this, the residents do not have the "pride of ownership" that comes with the hard work necessary. In fact, the opposite happens and the residents resent their benefactors because the very house is a constant reminder that they themselves did not earn the right to live in the house. They do not appreciate the value of the property and see no need to maintain or respect it in any way.

The result is the same whether you are talking about a studio apartment or a magnificent mansion full of priceless antiques. If the people who live there do not feel they earned the privilege, they will make this known through their actions. The picture below illustrates the point:

Where Has All The Money Gone?

If a person wants to know where all the money has gone and why are we facing such hard times this post is prepared to give you a few brief reasons why our country is in the shape that it is in.  Most Americans will agree with this article but not all. Please read it and tell me if you agree, because the people who do not agree will certainly let me know! Do not be in the Silent Majority, stand up for America and be counted!


The America people have now reached a point, in the history of this country,  where the number of people who work hard everyday, and are paying taxes, are just about the same as the number of people who pay no taxes at all, and, because of it, America today is suffering the consequences of the.  "gimmes" to from the other half that thinks this country owns them a living. When the working Americans (Better known as The Tea Party) who pay there taxes cried "enough" in the debit debate, the left responded by calling them terrorist. That puts the working American on the same level as people who try to kill us for one reason or the other! 

The sad fact of this matter is we have been heading to this point since the late 60's and early 70's. It was then that the liberals in this country, under the leadership of President Johnson started the "Great Society". to be exact it was 1964 when the bill was past. The effects of that bill started to be felt by the working man in the late 60's and early 70's and has got steady worse since then. If the concept of the great society was done in the right way it might have been a very good idea. I say this because there are people in this country that do need help from their fellow Americans. The elderly, people who are temporary out of work for a good reason (the key word here is temporary), and people who are in need (key word need) of help. It might have been a good plan if:

• The designers and framers of this Bill did it for the right reason. That reason would be to just help people until they could get back on their feet. However, as most of us know, this was not the reason behind any of Congress's  decisions about the "Great Society". They saw the "Great Society" as a way for them to get votes needed for re-election to their career jobs. It was like  guaranteeing them their jobs no matter what it did to the rest of the American People.
• The really bad flaws in this bill should have been looked at and fixed. The first flaw is there was a way for people to use this Great Society Program, but there was nothing in the Bill to design away for people to get off of the program, so people became stagnated and never tried to do better for their self, for them it is like a catch 22. There are families who have lived off the government for generations because they know no other way. There are some folks that are caught up here, that do not want to be where they are at and want better for their self. But they are few in number. Sometimes I think that this is really what the liberals want so that they would be in complete control. A socialist (communist) government that gives them absolute power. These people are more or less like people living on a big plantation (The USA) as slaves to a master (The government) that gives them everything. 
•  We have some, not all, people who try to use the "Great Society" as a free ride. Riding the back of honest tax payers, who are footing the Bill! I'm talking about people who will not work, in any type of job, even if it was as a pie taster! That is a sad fact of where our country is at today. The case of "What you going to Gimme" has to stop if this nation is ever to survive!
• There needs to be a plan put into place by the elected officials of this country that calls for drug testing, and some kind of public work for the people who are using the system to get out of work and to free load off the working man. If our president has, as he calls them, shovel ready jobs give them to the people who will not work and if they did not work then they do not eat. Simple as that and straight to the point.  When I was growing up my father said many a time when I got a lazy streak this: "You do not work you don't eat" I instilled that in my kids as they were growing up and now they are doing the same things with there kids. How much better off would our country be if all parents taught their children the same thing. 

 The Great Society is not the only problem to cause America to be in the shape that it is in. Our Country has been mismanaged for a very long time. The government throws money away because in reality it is not their money so they just do not care. It is, and always will be, what ever it takes for them to remain in office. As I see it here are some of the other ways this government has mismanaged the taxpayer's money.

1. For decades America has been giving money to other nations. We are not talking about small sums of money, but it has been vast amounts of the tax payers money to help other counties. The sad fact is most of the money was and is not going to help the people of that nation, but it is going to the leaders of those countries and most of them are the mid-east countries that hate us. The leaders are becoming fat cats while their people still starve  and forever will be third world countries. Why are we still sending money to these nations?
2. America is now just about 100% dependent on oil from other countries and most of them hate America and the very ideas for which it stands. Why are we not drilling in our own country? This would create a untold amount of jobs and lower the price of gas at the pump and oil for out homes. food prices would go down. All reports say we have more than enough oil in this country to last a life time. So why are we not drilling here?
3. We are losing more and more jobs everyday to other countries. Companies are moving out of this country by the hundreds. This causes high unemployment and more burden on the taxpayer and why?  The government is placing so many regulations, taxes, and rules on these companies they can no longer pay the American worker a decent wage or make a profit. Once again the government is causing the problem.
4. Never have I ever seen and heard of so many pork projects in my life and other pay outs by the tax payer that are draining this country. Get rid of those unnecessary things and we could all eat pork. This is one area of our government that is really draining this nation and the taxpayer's checkbook. While we are at it let's stop all the free hand outs of condoms and birth control pills in schools. Let's stop paying for babies to be aborted and put a stop to the government paying for some women to have untold numbers of babies, all by different fathers, and then once again paying the women to raise them. For some women this is a way of life. what a savings here!

The very last comment that I would like to make in this article is this: We need a change in leadership! not only in Congress but also in the White house. We have a man in the White House that has one failed policy after another. From Obama Care to the stimulus that did nothing to help get the economy moving. We need leadership from a leader that believes in America and not from one that is tearing down and destroying the country.

  

The Visitors: A Class Act

A doctor had his TV on in his office when the news of the military base shootings at Ft. Hood , TX came on. The husband of one of his employees was stationed there. He called her into his office and as he told her what had happened, she got a text message from her husband saying, "I am okay." Her cell phone rang right after she read the message. It was an ER nurse,” I’m the one who just sent you a text, not your husband. I thought it would be comforting but I was mistaken in doing so. When she arrived, she found out her husband was out of surgery and would be OK. She rushed to his room and found that he already had two visitors there to comfort him. He was just waking up and found his wife and the visitors by his side. The nurse took this picture: What? No news crews and cameras? This is how people with class respond and pay respect to those in uniform. I sent my cousin in Fayetteville, N.C. (Retired from Special Forces) that picture of Geo. W. visiting the wounded at Ft. Hood . I got this reply: What is even better is the fact George W. Bush heard about Fort Hood, got in his car without any escort, apparently they did not have time to react, and drove to Fort Hood. He was stopped at the gate and the guard could not believe who he had just stopped. Bush only asks for directions to the hospital then drove on. The gate guard called that "The President is on Fort Hood and driving to the hospital." The base went bananas looking for Obama. When they found it was Bush, they immediately offered escort. Bush simply told them it was o.k. and to let him visit the wounded and the dependents of the dead. He stayed at Fort Hood for over six hours, and was finally asked to leave by a message from the White House. Obama flew in days later and held a "photo opportunity" session in a gym, and did not even go to the hospital. All this I picked up from two soldiers here who happened to be at Fort Hood when it happened. This Bush/Obama/Ft.Hood story is something that should be sent to every voter in the US .
