The poverty rate is at 15.1 percent, it is the worst since the Census started tracking it!

For the most part the American people do not like at all what  Obama has done since he has been in the White House. His promise of hope and change went nowhere. It only brought disappointment for the American people. The unemployment rate for the American people is at 9.1 percent. The poverty rate is at 15.1 percent, it is the worst since the Census started tracking this in 1959. Obama’s  policies of class warfare and redistribution are sending Americans to the poor house, and the people in this country are starting to feel the consequences of his agenda. That would be a socialist (communist) agenda, make no mistake about it. We hear the government say say the recession ended in June 2009, But I can tell you I do not see it and only a few Americans would say they have felt some relief.

A new study by Gordon Green of Sentier Research explains this Obama trend. They found inflation-adjusted median household income fell 6.7 percent from $53,518 in June 2009 to $49,909 in June 2011. According to people that are in the know, the average household lost $5,400 in spending power. That is close to a10 percent drop in the standard of living. One reason for this is that people who have found jobs pay far less. Princeton University’s Henry Faber found that, most of the time, when an person looses a job and then got rehired during the recession, the new position paids17.5 percent less than the old position. It’s no wonder that confidence levels of the American people are low, and o wonder they are being careful with what they buy or how they spend their hard earned money.
.Obama’s answer to all this is having the federal government proclaim the unemployed a legally protected class. His American Jobs Act would subject businesses to frivolous lawsuits if they decide against hiring someone who has been jobless for an extended time. Doing so would serve as one more discouragement and deterrent for companies to hire people, this would make it even harder for people without jobs to find work.
In the end, the American will not find their pocketbooks thickening so long as Uncle Sam chokes businesses with government red tape. Companies need to have confidence that they will be able to keep the proceeds of their investments not give it away to the federal government, before they will start hiring again.
