JFK'S Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in France in the early 60's when DeGaulle decided to pull out of NATO.  DeGaulle said he wanted all US military out of France as soon as possible. Rusk responded "Does that include those who are buried here?"DeGaulle did not respond. You could have heard a pin drop.  When in England ,at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of 'empire building' by the USA.  He answered by saying,"Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders.  The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return." You could have heard a pin drop.  There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American.  During a break, one of the French engineers came back into the room saying, "Have you heard the latest dumb stunt the USA has done? They sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims.  What do they intend to do, bomb them?"A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly:  "Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency  electrical power to shore facilities; they have three  cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck.  We have eleven such ships;how many does France have?" You could have heard a pin drop.  A U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies  At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of officers that included personnel from most of those countries. Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?"without hesitating:the American Admiral replied, "Maybe it's because the Brit's, Canadians, Aussie's, and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German." You could have heard a pin drop.  AND THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE...  Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane.At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry on. "You have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked sarcastically. Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously. "Then you should know enough to have your passport ready."The American said, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it." "Impossible, Americans always have to show their passports on arrival in France !"The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look.  Then he quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchmen to show a passport to."You could have heard a pin drop.   I am proud to be of this land, AMERICA

PUT ME IN CHARGE

This was written by a 21 yr old female who gets it. It's her future, she's worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare big government state that she's being forced to live in! These solutions are just common sense in her opinion.

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want
steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal legations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We
will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common good.."

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider
that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes, that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov't welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

student's father 12 years later. I wonder why this was never put out by the news media? 

Our national leaders didn't expect this. On Thursday, Darrell 

Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine 

High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado , was invited to 

address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he 

said to our national leaders during this special session of 

Congress was painfully truthful. They were not prepared for what he 

was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by 

every parent, every teacher, every politician, every 

sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! 

These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness. The 

following is a portion of the transcript:

"Since 

the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in 

the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of 

kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful 

daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic 

teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in 

vain. Their blood cries out for answers. 

"The first 

recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel 

out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, 

the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and 

the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart. 

"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I 

was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at 

groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not

a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent 

or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are 

responsible for my daughter's death. Therefore I do not 

believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had 

anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest 

opponent 

I am here today to declare that Columbine was 

not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual event that should be 

forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the 

blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind 

the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a 

poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best. 

Your laws ignore our deepest 

needs, 

Your 

words are empty air. 

You've stripped away our 

heritage, 

You've outlawed simple 

prayer. 

Now gunshots fill our 

classrooms, 

And 

precious children die. 

You seek for answers 

everywhere, 

And 

ask the question "Why?" 

You regulate restrictive laws, 

Through legislative 

creed. 

And yet you fail 

to understand, 

That 

God is what we need! 

"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, 

and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our 

make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and 

hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were 

present within our educational systems for most of our 

nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as 

theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has 

happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and 

in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And 

when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs -- 

politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. 

They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that 

contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. 

We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not 

have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws 

can stop someone who spends months planning this type of 

massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts. 

"As my son Craig lay under that table in the school 

library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, 

he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or 

politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young 

person in America and around the world, to realize 

that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was 

brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers 

offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the 

new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that 

violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To 

those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give 

to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own 

heart before casting the first stone! My daughter's death 

will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not 

allow that to happen!" -

Will You Sell Your House After 2013?

If you know anyone who might want to seel their home in a couple of years, be sure to let them know about this.  I DO pray that obamacare will not be able to go into effect EVER!!


 THIS WILL BLOW YOU AWAY !!!!!The National Association of REALTORS is all over this and working to get it repealed,  before it takes effect.  But,  I am very pleased we aren't the only ones who know about this ploy to steal billions from unsuspecting homeowners.  How many REALTORS do you think will vote Democratic in 2013


 Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it?  That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home,  etc.  When did this happen?  It's in the health care bill and goes into effect in 2013.

Why 2013?  Could it be to come to light AFTER the 2012 elections?  So,  this is "change you can believe in"?  Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax.

 If you sell a $400,000 home,  there will be a $15,200 tax.
 This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes.  Does this make your November and 2012 vote more important?

General Electric, which is owned by the Rockefeller family, is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing. In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers.

This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year; but paid no taxes-the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States.

So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation ("job czar"). He is supposed to help create jobs. I guess Our President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs or did he know.

If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I don't know what does. Please pass this information to others and think about it before you buy a GE product.

• Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined. 

• Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private employer, and most speak English. 

• Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world. 

• Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years. 

• During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy. 

• Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world. 

• Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago. 

• This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion).

It is now official that the majority of you are corrupt morons: 

• The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke. 

• Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke. 

• Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke. 

• War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more. 

• Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke. 

• Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke. 

• The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure. 

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while over-spending our tax dollars.  AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM? Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated.  Maybe it will end up in the e-mails of some of our "duly elected' and their staff will clue them in on how Americans feel.

We have lost our minds to "Political Correctness”!Someone please tell me what the hell is wrong with all the people that run this country! We're "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless, etc… In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , Turkey , and now Pakistan , BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!  Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries! 

AMERICA:  a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment, etc, etc. YET...................... They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies. Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.  Sad isn't it?

Franklin Raines was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae's accounting activities. Raines left with a "golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the accounting scandal became clear. Tim Howard  was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard "was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a "stable pattern of earnings" at Fannie. Investigations by federal regulators and the company's board of directors since concluded that management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses.  Raines and Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard's Golden Parachute was estimated at $20 Million! Jim Johnson  A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. Investigators found that Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson's 1998 compensation from the public, reporting that it was between  $6 million and $7 million when in fact it was $21 million." Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae.
