Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord!

Remember Patrick Henry and his famous quote: “ Give me liberty or give me death”Here is another quote from him: “It cannot be emphasized to strongly, or to often that this great nation was founded not of religionists, but by Christians, not on religion, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ”

Our forefathers had much to say about the Bible. These were people who through much time, tears, bloodshed, toil, and love of God in their hearts made this country great. Most people do not even know who these people are or what some of the quotes they said about this country. Listed here are some of our forefathers quotes for you to read:

[1] George Washington:“It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible”
[2] Noah Webster:“Education is useless without the Bible”
[3] Patrick Henry:The Bible is worth all other books that have ever been printed”
[4] Theodore Roosevelt:: “A  through knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college Education”

The news papers and TV in this country magnify the evil things in our country and overlook, or put aside the good and God given blessings that we have in this country. Every where that a person looks in this country we can see God and what our forefather had to say or thought! Here are some examples of this:

[1] At the top of the Supreme Court building in Washington, DC you will see engraved, as you enter, a group of law givers. All of then are looking toward one man and that man is Moses and he is holding the ten commandments. When you enter the court room inside the supreme court you will find that the two oak doors have the ten commandments engraved on each lower position of the door. Inside the court room you can see the wall, just above, where the supreme court Judges sit, is again, a display of the Ten Commandments that God gave to Moses. There is also Bible verses etched all over the federal buildings and monuments in our nations capital.

[2] Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer, the American citizen, since 1777. Fifty two of the fifty five founders of the constitution were members of the established Orthodox church in the thirteen colonies. The very first Supreme Court Judge, John Jay, said, “Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers”

[3] James Madison, who was the forth president of our country and also known as “The father of our constitution” said this: “We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self government, upon the capacity of each and everyone of us to govern ourselves, according to the Ten Commandment of God”

[4] Thomas Jefferson: our third president, worried about that the courts would over step their authority and instead of interpreting the law, would begin making law an oligarchy, which is rule of a few over many.

How has such a great nation such as ours gotten to the point that everything we have done since the start of this nation is now all wrong and unconstitutional ?
