The Blind Spot

Americans are privileged and fortunate but they have also developed a "blind spot”. The American people just don't understand evil anymore." Their minds have been seared. This means people cannot recognize the way evil operates. Despite the way judicial and political tyranny, sexual mayhem, political terrorism, and illicit drug use make people a victim of it or how it ruins ruin the lives of millions of people. That is a serious "blind spot." Aristotle, once,  warned that big lies are more believable than little ones, since people their selves might tell the little ones, but they cannot imagine telling whoppers. Then we are reawakened  to the BIG liars in our midst, the liars who cause mass trauma by the lies and their deeds. These are people who we elected to office because we wanted a better way and a more better and safer  world to live in. We believe their lies and their so called transparency.  Our country is now like a city with its walls broken down, instead of that shiny light on a hill. We must repair those walls.
Throughout the world evil exist. In North Korea, one man gets "torture and life in prison for possessing a radio." In China, another communist "worker's paradise," bureaucrats enforce sterilization, abortion and infanticide, jailing roughly "500,000 people" without charge or trial, in Mexico, were things are really corrupt, you can get shot for just being in the way, and so on. Most governments from the "Far East to Africa to South America are corrupt, predatory and power hungry."
Here in the USA, government abuse grows daily. We are fast becoming a nation without God. Homosexuals parade our streets, unborn babies by the thousands are killed every day. Now in this country almost everything that is wrong is now right and everything that was once right is now wrong.  We have removed God from our court rooms and schools. The closer we get to a vision of man without God, the closer we find ourselves without "strong moral principles." Under those circumstances, humans are "free to lie, manipulate and steal in a multitude of obvious and shrewd ways." The government officials have no restraint as to what they want to do, bad or deceitful. William Penn once said this:: "If man is not governed by God, he will be ruled by tyrants." After years living in this country, for nearly 65 years,  I know this to be well said and true. As time goes by more and more of our freedoms are being taking away in this country. The land of the free and the home of the brave is becoming not free anymore! When a elected government does not listen to the majority of the people they become tyrants. They will become your oppressors, your tormentor.  You will be ruled by dictators. This is what is taking place right now in our country.  We have leaders that care nothing about God, the people, or the welfare of this great nation. They have their agenda and that is what their aim is.
I was married to a Indian women that told me a story the American Indians use to tell their children as they grew up. The Indian chief tells the  story of a fight between two wolves. One wolf represents "evil, sin, fear, anger, pride, envy, lust, greed, arrogance, self pity, resentment, lies and cruelty."The other wolf "stands for love, honesty, kindness, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, friendship, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."This fight goes on inside everyone, including "you" he said. The grandson thought about what the chief told him  and then asked, "Which wolf will win?"The wise old chief looked up and answered, "The one you feed." This my friend is how evil works. Which wolf are you feeding?    Conservative View Point

SIXTY FOUR – and so tired - second posting

This article was posted in December 2009 and after many request it has been reposted

I will be 64 years old real soon and have been writing this blog for a year. Most of the people who read my blog know that I'm a conservative person and my writings are conservative. What you may not know about me is that I have lived on Delmarva all my life and I am now semi retired and I have worked, hard, since I was 16 years old. I have done every kind of work in my live from working in the farm fields as a teen ager, to being a police officer for years, to owning and operating my own electric company for many years. Despite some major health issues during my last years on the job, I was still putting in 50 to 60 -hours a week, and did not stopped working because I was sick or did not feel good. My father taught me to work hard. I worked hard and made a good living, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and it was not handed down to me, on a silver platter, by the government, or anybody else. I have worked very hard and put in long hours to get where I am and what I have. I have no great amount of wealth, But the point I want to make is I have worked for what I have. I taught my three sons to work hard for what they have and what they want. No one has give me or them any free rides. We have worked for it. But the fact is this, given the way the economy is today, there's is now no full retirement in sight for me, it is back to work to make ends meet and I'm tired. Very tired, tired of giving a large amount of my hard earned money to the "Great Society" of "no show" workers so they can live free of charge, buy more drugs, and laugh as they do it. I'm sure a lot of you who read this feels the same way. There will be no full retirement for the most of us that have worked hard all of our life.

I'm so tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth around" to people who don't have my work ethics or standard and principles. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy or stupid to earn it. The people who will not work in a pie shop eating pies, but want to be a part of a great society. This is who we are spreading our wealth {hard earned money} around to. Sometimes as I sit and think about it, it just makes me sick. I work and other people {the ones who could work like I do} hold their hands out with a serious case of the give me s.

I'm so tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people in their homes." If they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help them because that is the duty of every American. I would truly give my last dollar to someone that needed it. I would want them to do the same for me. We should be a caring people, But to those people that bought mansions at three and four times the price that my little acre cost me, on one-third, or less, of my salary, then, I say this, let the left-wing Congress-liberals who promoted and passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created this problem help them with their own money, not mine or any other hard working American. We have give and give until there is just no more to give. When are we going to say the free ride is over? If we as Americans do not speak up soon and let our voices be heard in unity it will be over for everybody, because we will not be able to keep up.

I'm so tired of being told how bad  America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros, and  Hollywood entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities  our great country has offered and give to them. In thirty years, if they get their way, the  United States will have the economy and financial system of Zimbabwe {which is zero} , the freedom of the press that China has {which is none}, the crime, bloodshed and violent behavior of Mexico {that is already spilling over into our country}, the tolerance for Christian people that are in Iran {which is none}, and the freedom of speech of  Venezuela {which is also none} . Won't multi-culturalism be wonderful and magnificent? What a wonderful country that we will live in! You may laugh at what I'm saying but just look around you. Are you living in the same America that you lived in fifty or even twenty years ago?

I'm so tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when that is a plain lie, when every day you or I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense that in all trueness and reality does not mean a hill of beans; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they are infidels and are not "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls because they consider women second class and sub-servant to them; of Muslims stoning young women who are rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari' a law tells them to do it, while some Americans turn the other way. Can you call this a religion of peace. I hardly think so. This country did not use to be that way. Of course this is the way it was before we as a nation started to compromise our standards and our new form of "political correctness"

I believe "a man should be judged by the content of his character and his heart, not by the color of his skin." I'm tired of being told that "race doesn't matter" in the post-racial world of Barrack Obama, when all that matters is affirmative action jobs, lower standards for college admission and lower graduation standards for minorities (which is harming them the most), government contract set-asides for minorities only, tolerance and acceptance for the ghetto culture, and the society of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone else. I'm tired that if you speak out on these issues or do not agree with the president you are labeled a racist, a want to be terrorist, or anti government. I'm just sick of it. I am a American!

I'm so tired of being labeled by the president and his liberal followers as a person that clings to my Bible and guns when both have been part of my life since I can remember and a part of this country's heritage since it was founded. Like a lot of Americans I will always embrace them both. I'm not a bad person because I have a Bible in my house {and use it daily} and keep guns in my house for self defense, hunting, and to defend this country if necessary. I'm tired of being looked down on by our government and the liberal press when I say that: "It is the person and not the gun that causes problems and deaths. There is coming a day when everybody is going to want a Bible and gun in their house. Many a person has said that this nation was built on God, Guns, and Guts. I'm afraid to say that with the majority of this nation this is not so anymore. They have got rid of God, they are trying get rid of our guns, and guts have gone out the back door. These three things have been replaced by a God-less government, the gradual disarming of our country, and the spineless politicians that will not stand up for what is right and then people wonder what is happening to our great nation.
I think it's very good and shows the world how far our country has come that we have a black president and that a black child is most likely doing her homework at the desk where  Lincoln wrote the emancipation proclamation. How far we have come in creating equal rights for all races. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, Michael Steele, or Thomas Sowell, or someone who believes more in freedom and rights for the individual and less being the arrogant all-knowing government who wants to control all parts of our life. Someone who is not a narcissist like our current president. Someone that does not want to turn this country into a socialist {communist} country. I do not care if our president is black or white, a man or women, as long as they do not dismantle our nation piece by piece as Barrack Obama is doing.

I'm so tired of a news media that tried to make people think that the former president Bush's fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene and to much, but that they think Obama's, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush's military records trying to discredit him, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Sarah Palin with two years as being governor, for being too inexperienced for Vic President, but lay it on thick and heavy that Obama with three years as senator, and one who voted present most of the time, as being the best president this country has ever had. Why is the media so one sided? Why can't they report the news and let us decide? Do you wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions to the local newspapers or why they are switching to Fox News? Let me give you a clue, I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but the news media and Senator Kerry drove me to vote for him in 2004. I saw the light!

I'm so tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money {our hard earned money} to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools, right here in America, to preach hate in our country, while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue, or religious school in  Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance. Where is the give and take on their part? I'm tired of my country being "political correct" I want this nation to stand tall.

I'm so tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do to themselves and others. Let me ask you this question: Did a colossal germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, throw them to the ground and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I sure those drug addicts chose to take the drugs. And I'm tired of harassment from people, who think they are so cool' treating me like and calling me a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I'm so tired of illegal aliens being called "undocumented workers," especially the ones who aren't working, but are living on welfare or crime. What's next? Calling drug dealers, "Undocumented Pharmacists"? And, no, I'm not against Hispanics. I have friends that are Hispanic. They work hard, pay their taxes, come to this country legally and are good neighbors. I'm okay with citizenship for any Hispanic person who can speak English, doesn't have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, one who is not in a gang, or one who serves honorably for three years in our military...those are the kind of citizens we need. The ones who come hear the right way. There is a right way and wrong way of doing things.

I'm so tired of liberals and journalists, who have never worn or who will would never wear the uniform of this country themselves, or let their , as they think, entitlement-handicapped kids, who they think are privileged, near a recruiting station, to trash our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than they are. People who die for their freedom so they can do as they choose. Do bad things happen in war? Yes they do. Do our soldiers sometimes do wrong? Yes they do. Does this compare with the carnage, violence, and killing that were and still are the guiding principle and course of action of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? It is not even close. So here's the deal. I will let myself be subjected to all the humiliation, embarrassment, shame and abuse that was laid on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity and imprisonment by the Muslims who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we'll compare notes. As far as I have read and researched the British and American soldiers are the only troops in history, to my knowledge and study, that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from them in fear of their lives.

I'm so tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and integrity while the other party has a corner on dishonesty. Read the papers; Bums are bipartisan and they will always be useless and worthless. They come from both sides of the isle. And I'm tired of people telling me we need bi-partisanship. Look at the crooks who live in  Illinois , where the politicians in Illinois has worked to loot and take from the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama's cabinet as well and other tax cheats in the past.

I'm so tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers, and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when all of us know they really think their only mistake was getting caught and how not to get caught again. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement or privilege, rich or poor. We {the hardworking tax payers} pay for our mistakes and so should they. What are they entitled to that which we as hard working Americans are not entitled to?

Speaking for the truly poor, we need to help them because it is the American way. No one in this country should go hungry or have no place to live, no one should be denied a doctor or health care, no one should be looked down on in this country because of race or financial position, but I'm tired of seeing people pull out food stamps to pay for their two carts of food and then pull out a wad of money that would choke a horse to pay for their beer and cigarettes. I'm so tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars being called poor, living off of our tax dollars. The majority of Americans didn't have all that in 1970, but we didn't think or considered ourselves poor. The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing for them to be re-elected. It is whatever it takes, right or wrong, to get re-elected. That is how they look at it. It is not what is best for the country, but it is what is best for them and their re-election.

I'm real tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination, or big-whatever for their problems that they themselves has caused. We all know {the majority of us} that it is time to stand up and get these people the heck out of our government and elect people who are honest and truly care about this country and its citizens.

Yes, I'm really tired. But I'm also glad to be 64. Because, I'm not going to have to see the country these people are making or not much of it anyway. I'm just sorry for my grand kids and your grandkids who will receive the benefits of these people who control our government. Freedom as we have known it, our grandkids will never see if this country is not turned around soon.

Hey everyone out there!

We, in  Arizona , know you're boycotting us -- but you really should come out here and see our beautiful Sonoran Desert . It's just gorgeous right now! We know you'd love it and maybe you can share what you saw with the rest of the country so they can love it too!

This is Photographs from  an 'illegal super - highway' from Mexico to the USA ( Tucson ) used by human smugglers.

This area is located in a wash, approximately 1.5 miles long, just south of Tucson , Arizona . If a flood came, all this would be washed to the river and then onto the sea! It is estimated over 5,000 discarded backpacks are in this wash.  Countless water containers, food wrappers, clothing, feces, including thousands of soiled baby diapers. And as you can see in this picture, fresh footprints leading right into it.

As we kept walking down the wash, we thought for sure it was going to end, but around every corner was more and more trash!   And of course the trail leading out of the wash in our city, heads directly NORTH to Tucson , then leads to your town tomorrow.  They've already come through here. Isn't Arizona just beautiful, America ? Why would you boycott us??? Our desert has basically been turned into a landfill. The trash left behind by people illegally crossing our border is another Environmental Disaster to hit the USA . If these actions had been done in one of our Northwest Forests or Seashore National Parks areas, there would be an uprising of the American people.....but this is the Arizona-Mexican border. You won't see these pictures on CNN, ABC, NBC or the Arizona Republic Repugnant newspaper. Nor will they mention the disease that comes from the uncovered human waste left in our desert.

Our Hope And Change

clip_image001

After about two years of Obama's reign let's look at the "change." our fearless leader has put into place. His administration legislates in secrecy, disregards its constituency, bribes legislators, funnels billions to ACORN, appoints tax-cheating incompetent individuals who derive their philosophy from infamous tyrants to Cabinet positions and as czars who create a fourth branch of government and as attorney general a person who pardoned murderous terrorists and a major embezzler. Obama and his clones have set the stage for massive tax increases, he has created unimaginable debt and passes it on to our children and grandchildren.

He has passes a stimulus bill that only stimulated unemployment and home foreclosures, uses TARP to reward supporters and takes over private industries, obligates state spending with unfunded mandates and passes a budget with 9,000 pork barrel earmarks. He tries to ram down our throats the government's takeover of health care, which will cut Medicare, ration care, raise costs and destroy the world's best medical system. He supports Cap and Trade, a massive tax, to solve a global warming hoax and amnesty vs. legal immigration that costs taxpayers in Maryland alone $1.4 billion each year.

We have a man traversing the world accomplishing nothing positive, apologizing for our so-called transgressions vs. highlighting our greatness and compassion, cuddles up to terrorists and tyrants, abandons our staunchest allies, guts our military, negates our intelligence agencies, prosecutes loyal Americans and makes us the laughing stock of the world.

There is hope. The time to vote and rectify this fiasco is coming soon.

Americans How Do You Like This Hope And Change?

image

THIS IS FOR REAL!!!!!
Read the article in USA Today
http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2010-03-14-haiti-flag-flap_N.htm

Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, the United States rushed in to help

with all the money, medicine and manpower. To date, we've already given over $179 million in humanitarian aid to Haiti, but Barrack Obama has just ordered all U.S. installations to take down their American flags, lest we be seen as an "occupying army" rather than "international partners".

It is patently appalling that a President of the United States would consider our flag to be a symbol of militaristic takeovers and colonialism, especially when serving (to a greater degree than any other nation on Earth) a humanitarian purpose. Additionally, who would think we'd want to occupy Haiti! No other country giving aid in Haiti has lowered its flag.

But then again, no other country has a leader who is offended by their own flag.

The Arizona Issue

image

Since Governor Janet Brewer signed the law, about a week ago, to help with the crime caused by illegals, Arizona has been subjected to brutal and cruel attacks as the modern day version of Jim Crow, apartheid, Nazism and you name it. Few people have raised their voice to Arizona's defense. The silent majority is saying nothing in public. That is a shame, because sixty one per cent of the American people, when poled, agree with the Governor of Arizona. The only thing that Arizona is doing is closing the door to crimes committed by illegals, mainly from Mexico. There are now thirteen other states that are looking at this law and will sooner or later put it into law also.

In was really a nauseating smear, when Mexican President Felipe Calderon charged Arizona with opening the door "to intolerance, hate, discrimination and abuse in law enforcement." Boy does he have the room to talk! Has he looked at his whole country lately? The only thing besides protecting her people the great state of Arizona is trying to stop that same lawlessness in Arizona that is out of control in Mexico. How close are we to that same lawlessness, that is in Mexico, where people are murdered by the dozens everyday. Men armed with automatic weapons riding up and down the streets in the back of open pickups. It is spilling over into our country now and the spill is getting bigger everyday while our government say nothing. image

And what was the reaction of Obama “the Great Apologist” to this slander of an American state by the leader of a neighboring nation? A nation that is ridden with crime and drug dealers. The answer is none. As an American citizen I wonder if Barrack Obama will ever stand up to foreign leaders'. He is abusing the nation that awarded him its highest honor. Or has he been infused since birth in the "Blame America First" mindset of the liberal Democrats who scorn and find contempt in the real America? Is this part of his dismantling America?

Here are more questions that I want to put forth before I close. Does the Mexican government offer food stamps to American people that may live in their country? Do they offer free education to Americans? Do they offer free medical insurance just because one is illegal. Will Mexico give you money to open your own business? If an American goes to Mexico do you press one for Spanish and two for English?

There is no shortage of ammunition our president could have used to fire back at the phony s and the slick old boys of Mexico City. This is who we have for a president. Maybe Obama would be better suited if he went to Mexico as a community organizer. He seems to be good at that or maybe he could go to Mexico to be their president and he could finish the destruction there like he is trying to do to our country. For where Arizona has made it a misdemeanor to be in the country illegally, (which is already a federal law) in Mexico it is a felony that can get you years in prison. Where illegal aliens in America regularly protest under Mexican flags, no foreign resident in Mexico may demonstrate against the regime. You may never be seen again!Yet this president of Mexico puts down Arizona and our man Obama says nothing.

While illegal immigration is changing the ethnic balance of this country, in Mexico immigrants are not allowed in who could upset "the balance of the national statistics." Now tell me there is not nothing wrong with that. Where Americans demand we treat illegal aliens firmly but fairly, Guatemalans caught in Mexico are often treated with a brutality when they are caught. The American people really do not need any lectures on morals or human rights from Mexico. Give me a break. But what is the matter with Obama that he will not defend his country?

As for the Arizona law, what does it really say and do? The very first thing it does is, it brings Arizona's law into agreement with federal law. A law that Obama will not uphold. As it has long been a federal crime to be in the country illegally, it is now a crime in Arizona. Same law, the only difference is we have a leader that will enforce it. Someone who has the well being of the people at heart. Second, just as the United States law since 1940 has required legal aliens – immigrants and guest workers – to carry their green cards or work visas at all times, Arizona law now says the same thing. What is inhumane about this? If it is so inhumane, where have the protests been these last 50 years? Many of us in the 1950s had to carry not only driver's licenses, but draft cards. There is nothing changed in the law! It is simply being enforced.

As for racial profiling, the new law forbids it. A police officer, it reads, "may not solely consider race, color or national origin" in stopping anyone or in determining an immigrant's status. What is in humane about that? Before there can be a "reasonable suspicion" an individual is here illegally, there must first be a "lawful contact." This means no cop can halt and challenge a man on the street, or sitting in a restaurant or bar, or driving a car. If an person is caught running a traffic light, the police must first ask for his or her license. Only if that person does not have a valid Identification or driver's license, or his behavior causes "reasonable suspicion" that he is an illegal, can he be brought in. Then, a call must be made to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to determine his status. Where is the neo-Nazism here? What is so bad with that in a state that has over ½ million illegal aliens (and they are Hispanics) that are now pushing to the top as the number one crime guys in Arizona. Crimes of murder, drugs, kidnapping, and many other crimes. The city of Phoenix is now called the kidnapping capital of The United States and the hub of smuggling both drugs and humans. No that is what is in inhumane! When law abiding citizens are afraid to come out of their homes because of the crime and the government is not doing anything about it then it is time for people to arm themselves for protection (something the federal government is bound to do, but will not).

Whatever the motivation of our man Obama and his crones on the left, defense of this law by law abiding Americans is of the up most importance, because If the southern states cannot stop the invasion and onslaught from Mexico this nation is headed for a world of trouble, because the U.S. government's is willfully neglectful of its duty to defend America's borders and the American people from the south of the border illegals. True Americans must stand up and speak out for Arizona.

The Obama Plantation

I read this article on another web site and I thought that I would pass it along. Even though I did not write it I know the nasty remarks will come my way.

Star Parker is a conservative African American woman who has stated she spent her teen and early adult years as an unemployed mother on welfare. She also has told of being arrested in her teens for shoplifting, and has publicly disclosed the fact that she has had four abortions. Parker became a Christian and subsequently became a spokesperson for related political issues. She opposes the welfare system, claiming that welfare is similar to an invitation to a government plantation, which creates a situation where those who accept the invitation switch mindsets from "How do I take care of myself?" to "What do I have to do to stay on the plantation?" She claims that stable families and strong moral values are the key to ending poverty. She believes that abortions is wrong and has hurt black families. In 2007, Parker was a guest at the conservative Value Voters Summit and in 2009 was a guest speaker at this same event.

Below is a article that she wrote and it is one of the very best comments on the present situation, in this country, that I have seen! If a white person had written it, it would be considered extremely racial, but since the writer is black and admittedly a product of the "welfare state", it is acknowledged as a person speaking from experience.

Six years ago I wrote a book called Uncle Sam's Plantation. I wrote the book to tell my own story of what I saw living inside the welfare state and my own transformation out of it. I said in that book that indeed there are two Americas -- a poor America on socialism and a wealthy America on capitalism. I talked about government programs like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Training (JOBS), Emergency Assistance to Needy Families with Children (EANF),Section 8 Housing, and Food Stamps.

A vast sea of perhaps well-intentioned government programs, all initially set into motion in the 1960s by Democrats, that were going to lift the nation's poor out of poverty.

A benevolent Uncle Sam welcomed mostly poor black Americans onto the government plantation. Those who accepted the invitation switched mindsets from "How do I take care of myself?" to "What do I have to do to stay on the plantation?" Instead of solving economic problems, government welfare socialism created monstrous moral and spiritual problems -- the kind of problems that are inevitable when individuals turn responsibility for their lives over to others. The legacy of American socialism is our blighted inner cities, dysfunctional inner city schools, and broken black families. Through God's grace, I found my way out. It was then that I understood what freedom meant and how great this country is. I had the privilege of working on welfare reform in 1996 which was passed by a Republican controlled Congress. I thought we were on the road to moving socialism out of our poor black communities and replacing it with wealth-producing American capitalism. But, incredibly, we are now going in the opposite direction.

Instead of poor America on socialism becoming more like rich America on capitalism, rich America on capitalism is becoming like poor America on socialism. Uncle Sam has welcomed our banks onto the plantation and they have said, "Thank you, Suh." Now, instead of thinking about what creative things need to be done to serve customers, they are thinking about what they have to tell Massah in order to get their cash.

There is some kind of irony that this is all happening under our first black president on the 200th anniversary of the birthday of Abraham Lincoln. Worse, socialism seems to be the element of our new young president. And maybe even more troubling, our corporate executives seem happy to move onto the plantation. In an op-Ed on the opinion page of the Washington Post, Mr. Obama is clear that the goal of his trillion dollar spending plan is much more than short term economic stimulus.

"This plan is more than a prescription for short-term spending -- it's a strategy for  America 's long-term growth and opportunity in areas such as renewable energy, health care, and education." Perhaps more incredibly, Obama seems to think that government taking over an economy is a new idea. Or that massive growth in government can take place "with unprecedented transparency and accountability." Yes, sir, we heard it from Jimmy Carter when he created the Department of Energy, the Synfuels Corporation, and the Department of Education.

Or how about the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964-- The War on Poverty- which President Johnson said "...does not merely expand old programs or improve what is already being done. It charts a new course. It strikes at the causes, not just the consequences of poverty." Trillions of dollars later, black poverty is the same. But black families are not, with triple the incidence of single-parent homes and out-of-wedlock births. It's not complicated. Americans can accept Barrack Obama's invitation to move onto the plantation. Or they can choose personal responsibility and freedom. Does anyone really need to think about what the choice should be?

"The trouble with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."

Stand Up Americans And Cry Out!

This week in California we had four students who had on T-shirts that had a American flag on them. When they went to school they were asked by school officials to either turn them inside out or take them off and put on something else. While everyday Hispanic students wear their Mexican flag on their clothing everyday. Over three hundred Mexican Students walked out of the school in protest because four students were wearing American flags. What is happening here? Do we still live in America or has Mexico already taken over?

We have a president – and that would be Obama - who will not respect the flag by putting his hand over his heart or salute it and wants to change the design of our flag. He wants part of the constitution re- wrote. What is happening here. We have a president – and again that would be Obama - who thinks we have 57 states ( there are 57 Muslim states). He made that clear when he was running for president. He calls the acts of terrorism against this country: “Man made disasters”. Almost all the time he sides with the (radical) Muslim world in all they do and will most of the time offer excuses for them. Our alley since 1948 is being snubbed by our president and it is simply because he does not want to offend his Muslim brothers in the world. He calls our police officers stupid and promotes socialism in many way. The one that grips me the most is him wanting to spread the wealth around. In other words take it form hard working Americans and and give it to the people who will not work in a pie shop tasting pies.

We have a federal government that will not protect its people. All along our borders we have illegals crossing it by the thousands everyday – and yes they are Mexicans. - Americans are being, murdered, assaulted, raped, and their property destroyed everyday along the border and now it is spreading all across our land. We have Arizona passing its own law to protect its citizens because the federal government will not. Now we have other states following Arizona such as Texas, a border state, and Pennsylvania a state which is not even near the border. What ever happen to American pride. It is like no one cares anymore about America and what she stands for. The point is if you are in this country illegally you are breaking the law. The point is if you come to this country – legally - then blend in with everybody else and learn our ways and our language. We should not have to press one for English.

If you think you are saving any money by having illegals doing your work then you are wrong. I was at a super market just this past week and in front of me was a Hispanic women with two cart of food that she immediately paid for with government food stamps. That did not bother me as much as it did when after she paid for the food with food stamps that she pulled out a large roll of money and payed for some tobacco products. Why could she have not spent her roll of money for her food? The answer to that is the money is going back to Mexico to support other relatives until they can get here. We have hospitals that are under a strain or are closing down because of the illegals. We have schools on our borders were Mexican kids cross the border and come to school here and their education is being paid for by the United States Tax payer. This is illegal and it is costing the tax payer millions.

So we have these two problems, among many others, that are facing us today, that in time if nothing is done, will destroy this country. They are Terrorist ( Obama's man made disaster – as he puts it) and illegals that are draining the country. Both of which our federal government will do nothing about. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? On the other side of the picture we have a federal government that will do nothing about the illegal aliens that are flooding our country. They turn a death ear to the 67% of the American people who want it stopped.

We can not have Bibles, prayer, or say anything about Christ in our schools, but yet the federal government will allow foot basins in some public schools for Muslims to wash their feet before prayer. What is wrong with this country. We have Muslim terrorist who are trying to kill all Americans and Obama calls their acts of terror “A man made disaster” and said that he has “empathy” (sympathy and a fellow feeling) for them. The question to be asked is: “Whos side is he on?” In the history of our country we have never had a president that is so bent on tearing this country apart and destroying the American way of life.

News From Arizona – author unknown

Being an avid AT reader, and living on the Arizona border in Cochise County, I thought I would provide those who wish to be informed some insight into the truth about the state of the U.S.-Mexican border -- at least in this part of the state.
I moved to Cochise County after retiring from the Army in 2008 to take a position working at Fort Huachuca (pronounced "wa-choo-ka," an Apache word meaning "place of thunder" and referring to the time after the summer monsoon season). Having lived here in 1991 for eight months while attending an Army school, I soon realized that the place had changed considerably in the eighteen years of my absence.
The first thing I noticed was how many border patrol vehicles were on the roads in the city of Sierra Vista. The Border Patrol has a large station near here in the city of Naco. There are far more Border Patrol vehicles in the area than SV police cars. They come in many forms -- trucks for off-road work, trailers carrying all-terrain vehicles, pickups with capacity for carrying large numbers of people once apprehended, and even a staff car for the area chaplain. The Border Patrol presence has grown substantially, so one would think the border area was nice and safe.
Not so. Within a short time after arriving in southern Arizona while on my way to work, I noticed eight illegal immigrants on the side of the road. Fortunately, they were in the custody of capable and attentive Border Patrol agents. Unfortunately, they were less than a hundred feet from my daughter's bus stop. She gets personal service to school now, as the school district refuses to enter the gated community in which we live. There is a nice wash, a valley into which the rainwater drains during the monsoons, which provides a nice route for the illegals to follow into the city, and therefore into their locations for pickup by the vehicles that will get them farther north.
Later, after I attended a movie on a Friday night, a car passed by me in the next lane going nearly a hundred miles an hour. It took a few seconds before I saw the police behind -- way behind -- with lights and sirens, trying to catch up. Surprise, surprise -- the next morning's paper discussed a Mexican drug runner being caught by County Sheriff's Deputies. On several occasions, the Border Patrol's helicopter has flown low and slow over the neighborhood, rattling windows and shining its spotlight in our backyard. When this happens, I strap on my pistol, grab a flashlight, and look and listen. Fortunately, I haven't found anybody within a hundred yards of the house -- yet.
Working on a U.S. Army fort, one would think we were fairly secure from these threats. Just not true. Reading the Fort Huachuca newspaper one morning, I noticed an interesting part of the "community" page. It asked for volunteers to assist in cleaning up "dumps" on posts where the illegals would drop their supplies used to cross the border and change clothing. They do this in order to blend in and not look like they just spent a day or two crossing the border in the dust and heat of southern Arizona. The most frightening part of this is that Fort Huachuca is the U.S. Army Intelligence Center, where the Army trains its intelligence soldiers -- analysts, interrogators, radio intercept specialists, and counterintelligence agents -- for operations overseas. If we can't secure the fort we use to train our intelligence soldiers, how can we secure anything else?
Much has been discussed about the new law in Arizona making it unlawful to be in Arizona in violation of federal immigration statutes. However, much less has been discussed about the shooting of rancher Robert Krentz. Robert was killed on his ranch on March 28, 2010. His ranch, on which the family began grazing cattle in 1907 (Arizona became a state in 1912), is a large, 35,000-acre area in remote Cochise County. It is so remote that the original Cochise, an Apache leader, used the mountainous terrain near it to hide from the U.S. Cavalry in the early 1870s. But much less is being said about the eight illegal immigrants and their load of 280 pounds of marijuana seized the day before Krentz was killed.
So Arizona should be boycotted because its people would like to keep it safe? Somebody please explain the logic of that for me. It doesn't take a bullet from a drug runner's gun to make those of us down here near the border understand that this is drug-related violence -- and Rob's death proves it.
It also doesn't take much more reading to see that the drug dealers are a huge problem with far-reaching capabilities. On April 27, 2010, a large drug bust took place here in Cochise County. Among those arrested was Angelica Marie Borquez, the secretary for the Drug Enforcement Division of the Cochise County Attorney office. Allegedly, Ms. Borquez was tipping off the drug runners to counter drug operations conducted by the county. She was so bold that she used the phone in the County Attorney's office to make some of her calls.
This isn't a blatant effort by drug cartels to obtain control here in America?
Many have already called Arizona residents racists. They are concerned that police will profile Hispanics and disproportionally harass them. But we understand something others in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco don't seem to remember -- we border Mexico. The fact is that most illegal immigrants coming across the border here are, well, Mexicans. Those of us down here facing the danger every day really don't care what some Hollywood actor has to say about the issue. Nor do we care about what the Colombian government or the Latino music community thinks of it. We just want to stay safe.
This is not about race; it's about facts. Use a few of these facts the next time somebody wants to engage you in discussion about the border. Tell him you learned these things from somebody who can see Mexico from his front porch.

I Want To Explain

This is a letter From Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen. You will be amazed at what you are reading!
I'm Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen. I want to explain SB 1070 which I voted for and was just signed by Governor Jan Brewer.
Rancher Rob Krantz was murdered by the drug cartel on his ranch a month ago. I participated in a senate hearing two weeks ago on the border violence, here is just some of the highlights from those who testified.
The people who live within 60 to 80 miles of the Arizona/Mexico Border have for years been terrorized and have pleaded for help to stop the daily invasion of humans who cross their property . One Rancher testified that 300 to 1200 people a DAY come across his ranch vandalizing his property, stealing his vehicles and property, cutting down his fences, and leaving trash. In the last two years he has found 17 dead bodies and two Koran bibles.
Another rancher testified that daily drugs are brought across his ranch in a military operation. A point man with a machine gun goes in front, 1/2 mile behind are the guards fully armed, 1/2 mile behind them are the drugs, behind the drugs 1/2 mile are more guards. These people are violent and they will kill anyone who gets in the way. This was not the only rancher we heard that day that talked about the drug trains.
One man told of two illegals who came upon his property one shot in the back and the other in the arm by the drug runners who had forced them to carry the drugs and then shot them. Daily they listen to gun fire during the night it is not safe to leave his family alone on the ranch and they can't leave the ranch for fear of nothing being left when they come back.
The border patrol is not on the border. They have set up 60 miles away with check points that do nothing to stop the invasion. They are not allowed to use force in stopping anyone who is entering. They run around chasing them, if they get their hands on them then they can take them back across the border.
Federal prisons have over 35% illegals and 20% of Arizona prisons are filled with illegals. In the last few years 80% of our law enforcement that have been killed or wounded have been by an illegal.
The majority of people coming now are people we need to be worried about. The ranchers told us that they have seen a change in the people coming they are not just those who are looking for work and a better life.
The Federal Government has refused for years to do anything to help the border states . We have been over run and once they are here we have the burden of funding state services that they use. Education cost have been over a billion dollars. The health care cost billions of dollars. Our State is broke, $3.5 billion deficit and we have many serious decisions to make. One is that we do not have the money to care for any who are not here legally. It has to stop.

The border can be secured. We have the technology we have the ability to stop this invasion. We must know who is coming and they must come in an organized manner legally so that we can assimilate them into our population and protect the sovereignty of our country. We are a nation of laws. We have a responsibility to protect our citizens and to protect the integrity of our country and the government which we live under.
I would give amnesty today to many, but here is the problem, we dare not do this until the Border is secure. It will do no good to forgive them because thousands will come behind them and we will be over run to the point that there will no longer be the United States of America but a North American Union of open borders. I ask you what form of government will we live under? How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico , Canada or any of the other Central American or South American countries? We have already lost our language, everything must be printed in Spanish also. We have already lost our history it is no longer taught in our schools. And we have lost our borders.
The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. It is not going to set up a Nazi Germany . Are you kidding. The ACLU and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally, but it was an effort to try and stop illegals from setting up businesses, and employment, and receiving state services and give the ability to local law enforcement when there is probable cause like a traffic stop to determine if they are here legally. Federal law is very clear if you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That is the law. In Arizona all you need to show you are a legal citizen is a driver license, MVD identification card, Native American Card, or a Military ID. This is what you need to vote, get a hunting license, etc.. So nothing new has been added to this law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street etc... The Socialist who are in power in DC are angry because we dare try and do something and that something the Socialist wants us to do is just let them come. They want the "Transformation" to continue.
Maybe it is too late to save America . Maybe we are not worthy of freedom anymore. But as an elected official I must try to do what I can to protect our Constitutional Republic . Living in America is not a right just because you can walk across the border. Being an American is a responsibility and it comes by respecting and upholding the Constitution the law of our land which says what you must do to be a citizen of this country.
Freedom is not free. /http://tucsoncitizen.com/the-cholla-jumps/2010/05/01/state-senator-sylvia-allen-responds-to-sb1070/

A Word of Advice From The Past

HOW DID JEFFERSON KNOW what our country would be like if the citizens did not keep a close eye on it. Evidently, it was because he was a man ahead of his time, although it does not take a rocket scientist to see what is happening to our country. Please make sure that you read the last quote from 1802. Every word that Jefferson quoted those many years ago are coming to past in our time.

When we get piled
upon one another in large cities, as in Europe,
we shall become as corrupt as Europe .
Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist
when you take away from those
who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

Thomas Jefferson

It is incumbent on every
generation to pay its own debts as it goes.
A principle which if acted on would save
one-half the wars of the world.
Thomas Jefferson

I predict future happiness for
Americans if they can prevent the government
from wasting the labors of the people under the
pretense of taking care of them.

Thomas Jefferson

My reading of history convinces me
that most bad government results from too much
government.

Thomas Jefferson

No free man shall ever be debarred
the use of arms.

Thomas Jefferson

The strongest reason for the
people to retain the right to keep and bear arms
is, as a last resort, to protect themselves
against tyranny in government.

Thomas Jefferson

The tree of liberty must be
refreshed from time to time with the blood of
patriots and tyrants.

Thomas Jefferson

To compel a man to subsidize with
his taxes the propagation of ideas which he
disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson said in
1802:
'I believe that
banking institutions are
more dangerous to
our liberties
than standing armies.
If the American people ever allow
private banks to control the issue of their
currency, first by inflation,
then by
deflation, the banks and corporations that will
grow up around the banks will deprive the people
of all property -
until their children
wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers
conquered.'

We don't need a society of vandals
