Home Land Security – and Janet Napolitano

.

.Janet Napolitano, the Homeland Security Secretary, had some well-deserved criticism and disapproval (it was a long time coming) for saying to the American public over the weekend that "the system worked" with regards to a Islamic Muslim terrorists effort to blow up the plane he was flying on to Detroit. By Monday, she was backpedalling, (it is hard to back pedal) To try to escape the consequences of her statement by retracting it, and toning it down, acknowledging that "our system did not work in this instance." Does she really know what she is talking about. Does her right hand know what her left hand is doing. The truth of the matter is this: The refocusing of The Department of Homeland Security mission from terrorism began early in Napolitano's term, when In her first appearance before one of the congressional oversight committees, Napolitano didn't even mention the words terrorism or vulnerability, nor did she refer to the 9/11 attacks. She was asked recently to define The Department of Homeland Security's goals, she rattles off nearly a dozen "priorities," from cleaning up after natural disasters to port security, but not once did she mention or say the word TERRORISM. This is the person who Obama has choose to oversee the security of this nation. In fact, homeland security was scarcely mentioned by either candidate. And Obama hasn't expressed his own ideas for the department since taking office. He did take the early first step of folding and doing away with the Homeland Security Council, which advises the president on security issues, inside the larger National Security Council, a move that some saw as pushing some The Department of Homeland Security issues to the back burner as if they were not important. I believe that is hitting the nail right on the head.

The truth about this is: For most Americans, Napolitano has not had any credibility since she tried to ban and forbid the word "terrorism" from the official and authorized text of her department, replacing the word with "a manmade disaster" But the most serious sign that she is not prepared or ready to carry out her duties as the Homeland Security Secretary can be seen in the statement she made on Sunday, (12-27-2009). She told CNN's "State of the Union" that, "Right now, we have no indication, that Abdulmutallab's (the Muslim terrorist) actions were part of anything larger." Is she serious? What turnip truck did she fall off of? Where is her brain? Does she take the American people for fools? Any American that has any brains at all knows that this Muslim terrorist actions were one hundred percent part of something larger and that my friend is called SHARI, a holy war. It is a jihad to bring about the Islamic religion and Shari Law on Muslims and non-Muslims alike based on the Koran.

The question we, as Americans, must ask is this: Are we seeing a remarkable rise in violent jihadism in America. The answer to that is: "yes we are" There had been fourteen attempts in 2009 (compared to two or three in recent years) and they had been increasingly more violent. This is because the jihadist see this present administration as weak. Could the things that Obama has done - such as the closing Guantanamo Bay, the release of some hardened terrorists held there to go to Yemen (where Abdulmuttalab claims he got his plastic explosive device), giving other Muslim Terrorist the right to use to our civilian courts and constitutional rights, and many other things actually will encourage them to believe that murder and chaos will speed up the defeat and take-over of this country. The U.S. government was warned by Abdulmutallab's father at least two months ago that his son had been "radicalized" - in other words, that he had adopted the Islam terrorist views and had embraced Shari. He was transformed from being one of the hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world who are not a problem into one of those who are and will kill you in a heartbeat.

In the awaking view of this latest attack, barely warding off carnage and mass murder at the hands of jihadists, we are being promised executive branch reviews of the practice that has allowed this to happen,. Such re-examining will, however, amount to nothing more than a waste of time and taxpayer money - and possibly a serious distraction for the terrorist. The review will not amount to a hill of beans - It is ridiculous to think that "the system that is in place, now, to protect us is going to do anything other than increase the amount of discomfort for airline passengers as long as it does not weed out and do away with those people who accept as an article of their faith that it is their responsibility and obligation to destroy us.

Nowhere in the disinformation operations provided by this administration is any mention made of the Muslim Brotherhood's self-declared mission in America which the terrorist will state openly. According to an internal Brotherhood premeditated plan that dates back to 1991, is a mission that is: "A jihad that eliminates and destroys the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of other believers so that it is eradicated, destroyed and Allah's religion is made successful over all other religions." As long as Janet Napolitano, Attorney General Eric Holder, the Obama intelligence community, law enforcement, the military, the media and most especially President Obama, himself refuse to acknowledge what brings to life our enemies, we will never will have an successful plan for defeating them, let alone effectively put such a plan into place and execute it successfully.

We must first have a president and a Secretary of Home Land Security that can define the word "TERRORISM". They must first realize that it is not from Americans who peaceably protest the conduct of their government and it is not from our soldiers returning from the war that are the terrorist. It is the Islamic terrorist who would behead you, murder you, blow up the airplane that you are on, bomb the hotel that you are staying in, or if they could nuke a whole city full of innocent people.

Dismatling Our Country

Dismantling Our Country Piece By Piece
From Guantanamo,in Cuba, to Government run Health Care, To the War on terror, to the take over of big business and financial institutions Obama was, as he said during the presidential campaign, certainly seeking to Change America  in his first year as the president of this country, or more accurately, to dismantle this country, piece by piece, as we now know it. -to speed up and quicken the rate of change from a freedom based country to a Big Government- socialist run society no better off than a third rate communist country, that takes away our freedoms instead of protecting them.
His bailing Out of General Motors was nothing else other than the government take over of that car company. There is truly no other way to look at it. Obama's  policy of public, tax payer,  investments prevented necessary liquidations and reconstruction of that company . The businesses he wanted to save will either go bankrupt in the end,  or will be burdened  by a crushing load of debt. Obama undermined property rights and pushed government loans into this nations banks and bullied them into inflating  everything.  By the way, Government Motors (Obama Motors) sales are declining at 3 times the rate of the industry as a whole. Sorry but the facts are the facts and so goes it with our country.
In what world does Obama live for him to think that the economics work like this: A $14 trillion economy is sinking and employers are cutting jobs by the thousands, so what does Obama do? He raises the costs of doing business even more and  Cap & Trade is right out of a classic “command, do as I say economy” model worthy of putting it with some of the Eastern Block countries of the fifties and sixties. That will with all its  regulations will smother the US economy for decades before some people are wise enough to get rid of it amidst global cooling.
Government Health Care, so far,  is Obama’ signature legislative “accomplishment.” In time, people will see, it will be the millstone that hangs around their necks. This policy decision made by Obama was directly the opposite of the choice Ronald Reagan made when he was president. Reagan said government was not the solution to our problems , government was the problem. How right he was. The bigger the government the bigger the problems. During the Reagan years taxes and regulations , were dramatically cut, the economy rebounded and tax revenues doubled. Obama’s policy, on the other hand was, and is, to have government spend our way out of our economic problems. Sadly for us the spending, taxing and borrowing is not the  remedy for too much existing debt and the far too high existing tax burden.

The Congressional Budget Office has pointed out, in the long run, Obamanomics will hurt more than it will help. Given its short term-failure, it’s hard to imagine something worse and it is even harder not to call this one of his worst policy decisions. Socialized medicine doesn’t work, never has and never will and will be nearly impossible to repeal –  and it will bankrupt this nation. The rate that this country is going China will soon be the new rulers in Washington, DC.
Down through the history of our country, we have treated enemy combatants as those committing an act of war against this country. That is so because they are not US citizens, and their acts were acts of war. In other words, they were not criminal acts of a US citizen committed during peace time. Now, however, Obama has allowed at least one enemy combatant to be tried in a US criminal court subject to the constitutional laws of our country which he is not entitled to. There is a big list of horrible and alarming things that will come out of this decision  and include putting America on trial, tearing down the barriers between citizens and non-citizens and changing the way we fight wars, and not leaving out the danger that a foolish decision like this makes.
On November 16,2008 after Obama’s big victory, Time Magazine carried an article that read: “Missile-defense skeptics who are longing for a fresh look at the wisdom of putting $10 billion annually into missile defense will not get it from Barrack Obama when he moves into the Oval Office. That is how so very wrong the Time Magazine was. Obama did, in fact, cancel the long range system – just as every liberal Democrat has been wanting to do to American defense systems in their pursuit of less guns and more money to spend else where on their liberal “pork barrel” projects. So why was that Obama’s worst policy decision? Even worse than nationalization of health care?  You do not negotiate for years with an ally, like Poland, who depends on this country for back up and security, then pull the plug on that security – what is that saying to our allies, like The State of Israel! It is these countries that can no longer count and rely on the United States. Obama’s based his decision to abandon the longer range missiles  on the  premise that Iran is no longer interested in longer based offensive missiles. Obama is trusting Iran against the advice of a lot of good advisers. How wrong he was. That Decision tells Middle Eastern countries, that you better defend yourself the best you can. It was an apparent caving into Russia without any  tactual benefit, and It is in keeping with his other defense cuts which send a strong statement to our enemies, when you consider his weak rhetoric.   Dean Acheson, Secretary of State under Truman,  was the man who turned his back on South Korea, which led to the Korean War, would certainly be most impressed with Obama.  All in all, when it comes to the nuclear world, ignoring Thomas Jefferson’s advice that “Weakness provokes insult & injury,” seems beyond a bad policy decision – it is Obama's  worst policy decision. However, the worst may be yet to come. The year is not over yet

THE PRESIDENT WITHOUT A COUNTRY - by Pat Boone

"We're no longer a Christian nation." - President Barack Obama, June 2007
"America has been arrogant." - President Barack Obama
"After 9/11, America didn't always live up to her ideals."- President Barack Obama
"You might say that America is a Muslim nation."- President Barack Obama, Egypt 2009

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.

In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!" The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed." And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he fore swore - never fail to bring me to tears.  And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.

But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?" You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian Biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president.

You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"? In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."

Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson' s intent with that statement? Or, wait a minute . Were your ideas about America’s Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"?

Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"? Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"? Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.

Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran? Even in Egypt? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Sharahn law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?

It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected.. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.

Could it be you are a president without a country?

The Gun Made Him Do it.

I read this morning in the Easton Star Democrat about a Washington, DC police officer that pulled a gun during a snowball fight among a group of people. A spokesman for the police department said the officer is on desk duty while the case is under investigation. As a former police chief I must say that I believe the actions of the officer were totally inappropriate and also very dangerous. A video shows the same man telling people he is "Detective Baylor" and that he pulled his gun because he was hit by snowballs. This was a police officer that had 25 years experience. Not to bring a negative light on the department, I must say, In no way should the police officer have handled the situation in this manner." Never in my life have I ever heard of a person bring a gun to a snow ball fight. This is a man that is protecting the people of Washington, DC.

This article is not to condemn police officers, because just like the majority of the American people they are good people just doing their jobs. But the question I want to ask is this: where is the anti gun nuts? Why are they not making a issue out of this incident? When ever it is a gun involved issue they are always there screaming. For sure, if it was a private citizen they would be all over it making it a nation wide issue on how bad guns are. Why are they not calling for a ban on guns in the police departments? Because according to their way of thinking, if they made a statement, it would have to be one like this, it was the gun that was at fault here, not The cop. Get rid of the guns and give them a whistle and night stick. A not a very smart way of thinking is it. But that is the way anti gun people think. What should happen is the police officer needs to be got rid of or give him the whistle and a night stick.

The police officer was put on desk duty until the investigation is over. What they will do, who knows. What needs to be done is this, the police officer should be removed from the police force. He is no different than a ordinary citizen that would do the same thing as he did. He deserves the same. But in the end, once again, it will be the same thing over again. It was the gun that was bad, not the police officer. Not the person behind the gun. The gun that he carried to protect the people of Washington, DC made him do it! Where are all the people calling for more gun control? They need to jump on this!

I was Thinking

I was thinking how we are so lucky that we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. But I wonder the way things are going how much longer we will be free men and women. During my 64 years of life I have seen more and more laws passed and more regulations passed that no matter what you do there is a regulation or law to deal with and there is less and less freedom. It seems like we are working for the government instead of government working for us. Now that is sure mixed up. How simple life was in this country years ago. It was the way our fore fathers wanted it to be. But now this country reminds me of how the Pharisees in Bible times took a few of God's laws and made mountains more. Some of them being so silly. That is the same way it is in this country today. There are new laws just about every day for just about everything. Some politicians are always trying to take away every one of our rights, or most of them, that was a promise and assurance in the constitution framed by our fore fathers in the first ten amendments. The government wants to stop and put a end to your rights to own and use weapons for your own protection. They want to tell you what you can and can't read. They want to control how you spend the money you make.  They want to tell you how to pray {don't mention the name of Jesus} and when to pray and where you can't pray.  It seems like every piece of freedom they want to take away, and they are doing it while telling you it's for your own good, or for the good of everybody. Slowly but surely our freedom is eroding right before our eyes and people who want to be politically correct will not say a word. I believed they are called "THE SILENT MAJORITY"

You don't think it can happen here without at least a world war? Please don't kid yourself. Our nation's capitol is packed full with politicians {some Republican and some Democrats} who would love to trade a large part of your freedom and mind for promises to make life a bit easier, safer, or more secure. What's worse, there are a lot of our fellow Americans out there that want that kind of trade, as long as they get to be the ones that benefit. Just make sure it's only the blacks, or the Jews, or the bankers, or the farmers, or the people that like to wear cowboy boots and carry shotguns and rifles in their pickups that get stomped on, and they'll sign up right away for the great crusade. That is a fact even if you who are reading this do not want to say it is truth. Well it is true and down in your heart you know I'm right. We need to wake up to this fact of truth! We are ever so slowly becoming a nation that no longer is free.

If it's not enough that we have to put up with the bull crap from all the politicians in our country, from within, we still have  all those other insane people from without, the Communist, Iran, Hamas, The Taliban,  terrorist, and who knows who else from without. They won't even bother with trying it through political means. They're waiting for one slip in our defenses and they'll be only so great full to come on in and take our freedoms away by force. Or maybe, just maybe, the police, or as our new president wants, his own security force,  will come around with a piece of paper in their hand and tell you how sorry they are while they take your target pistol, your hunting rifles, and your child's 410 shotgun or 22 rifle. Then what will be next? These are real questions I'm asking to real Americans.

The only reasons for our government and why it was formed was  the protection of the citizens from criminals and  attacks from other countries, and for them to make laws for such things as property ownership, as well as methods to legally settle disputes between citizens, defend the environment, and assure public health and safety. These founding fathers were good decent people who depended on a higher power to help them with the writing of our constitution and to carry out its concepts. In other words they put God in everything they did and said, for our early law makers knew they needed His divine guidance in all the judgments they made. If you read their  biography and writings they invoke God's name, in everything they did, more than once. What has happen to our Politicians who are in office today? God cannot help make any laws and judgments' today because He is not allowed in our government building. He is not wanted. Our politicians saw to that and some of their special interest groups were their backers.

In my humble opinion it is because these politicians in no way are like our founding fathers. In order to ensure their continued employment in the elected office, that they hold, today's politicians have tried to instill in our minds that the majority must always rule. Once the politicians have the idea of majority rule sold, they are now set to get votes by promising all sorts of things to certain groups of people. Of course all those things have to be paid for by taxing or and not giving opportunities to a whole lot of people that get none of the benefit of their promises. We already have and pretty  soon will see even more welfare programs, high taxes, legislation restricting some peoples way of life.

We still have free elections, but we all know that they bought with money from special interest groups. It is the candidate with the most money who wins. We have Laws that are only made by elected officials and they only listen to special interest group and the tax payers are left hanging. There is freedom of the press,  freedom to assemble, freedom of religion, and freedom to petition the government. The problem is that as politicians grant more and more privileges to different groups, we find ourselves increasingly less in control of our own lives and tied up in laws, taxes, and regulations governing everything we do. More and more, decisions are taken away from you and the decisions are made by the government and not by the people. You're told what you can or can not do to the place you own, what you must do to have a business, where you can buy a gun and what you have to show to get it, and how long you have to wait before you buy it. Every time the politicians pass a law giving some groups special privileges, everybody else is told it is all for the common good, even if you lose some of your rights as a American Citizen. For example we now have a law for hate crimes. That is so not needed and never was needed. If anybody assaults, maims, hurt or kills a certain group of people it is now a hate crime. That law was made by politicians for no other reason than to get that groups votes. We already have laws to deal with these crimes and it is for all Americans, not just a certain group of people. Why pass a special law because there is a certain group of people who want it? It is for that groups support and vote. That's okay, my friend, because with most of our politicians, it's majority rule that counts, not freedom, not what is right. The time will finally comes when people are spending so much of their hard earned money, or having it spread around by the government and  on the common good for certain people and welfare programs passed by our politicians that they will have no time or money left to spend for the things they want out of life or the American dream.

And don't kid yourself. It can happen and it is starting to happen in the United States right now. It won't happen if a whole lot of people make it clear that they won't let it happen by their votes on election day, but there is no guarantee of this. Someday {and personally I think it is already here} you will find you can no longer vote with any meaning, you don't dare criticize elected officials anymore, your weapons have been confiscated, and your kids are being taught in the local school how to spy on Mom and Dad, then this you will know that I was right and believe me I'm not far off with what I'm saying. Those of us who now criticism Obama are often called racist. This country and a lot of other free democracies are less than perfect. So, while there is  still time left we must make our voices heard with our votes if we are to change this status quo.

A one hundred percent true republic is supposed to have free citizens, not good citizens as the government calls people that do what they want when they want. So, the day you wake up and find you don't have all the freedom you deserve, the first thing you have to do is stop being a good citizen and become a free citizen. The fact is you should stop being that good person now, a person that says nothing, and start demanding to be a free man.

If you can't be a free citizen, then you must elect people into office that will guarantee that right framed by our founding fathers in the constitution of these United States. Nazi Germany wasn't filled with people who wanted to throw Jews into bonfires and gas chambers, make slaves of most of the countries in Europe, and  rule the world with a new world order. The Germans were good people. Nazi Germany was filled with good citizens, because they did what their leaders told them to do. Hitler did everything he could to make all those good citizens think they were better off with him in charge, (HUM SOMETHING RINGS A BELL) even if they did have to give up a few freedoms. Hitler was more frightened that all those good citizens might stop being good citizens than he was of the Allied armies. He catered to them, he entertained them, he promised them better things. What are our leaders doing right now? The Germans kept being good citizens right up to the bitter end and if we do not get control of our government the same will happen to us. We will be good citizens right up yo the end. Laugh if you want, but in the end and that is soon, my friend, you will see the light and that I'm right.

In the Sixties, the decent good black American people in the South just got plain fed up with sitting in the back of the bus, getting chased away from the voting polls, and being turned away from  restaurants and hotels, no matter how much money they had, not being able to drink out of the same water fountain as white people, not being able to use the same rest rooms as white people, being harassed by people wearing white sheets, and many other things. So they started acting like bad citizens, as some people would say, but I say they were acting like people who wanted to be free in a free nation and rightly so!. They stood up for their rights as Americans and now a black man can go into any public place he wants. He is truly a free man only because he made the move to be free and his voice was heard. He did not want to be politically correct, he wanted to be a free man.

Our freedoms are under constant attack from one side or another. Take the issue of gun control. The people who praise and highly recommend  this compulsory principle keep telling us that the majority of Americans want some kind of gun control. So what! No majority in a free country has the right to take away the freedoms of any minority. The black American people in the sixties proved that by standing up for their freedoms. So if you are a gun owner, a Christian, or any other group of Americans now is the time to stand up and say: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I AM A FREE MAN!" That's what freedom is all about, and owning a gun is in the eyes of many Americans  the sign of being free man. Free to protect his self, his family. and the many freedoms of this nation. As long as the people who understand and believe that principle, insist on keeping their guns, we are going to be able to keep them. It is when a people do not speak out they lose out and are no longer a free man or live in a free nation. With much thought about the freedoms of this great country of ours I thank you for reading this and even if you do not agree with this writer just maybe it will start you to thinking like I did.

THE BIG QUESTION - when

The United States today has the greatest military in the history of the world. They have the best training, the best food, the best equipment, and the best military leaders in the world to lead them into battle. Whether some people will agree or not, it is not certain, but it is certain and without a doubt that we have a trained, determined, committed and courageous military that has and uses the most advanced technology in the world today that helps them provide for the security and safety of this nation. And, and above all, it is a one hundred percent a volunteer force. Now that is commitment. A commitment to freedom! All we need now is a commitment from spineless (Obama and the politicians) in Washington.

The sad thing in all this is our military was handed over to Barrack Hussein Obama ten months ago as we were fighting in two wars against the same enemy, that is, in the continuing war against terrorism. And what does Obama do with it? He refuses to see General McChrystal, who in charge of the soldiers in Afghanistan, until after the General’s concerns became known to the public and he was starting to get questioned as to why he was not talking to the general. Then, when General McChrystal advised Obama that we could win the war in a year and explained how to do it, this so-called Commander in Chief (Obama) took three months of vital time to think things over and it will be another ten to twelve months before, according to the pentagon before the troops are sent. So much for winning the war in a year. This was despite his statement during the campaign that Afghanistan was the ‘good’ war to which he would immediately turn his attention once he was elected. Is this a laugh or not? I call it a slap in the face to all Americans. Now, at long last, he has revealed his ‘strategy’ in a weak, uninspired and painful speech (that’ll sure strike terror in the hearts of those who want to kill us, won’t it?), in which Obama chooses withdrawal rather than victory. Whether the killing fields in Afghanistan will begin while are our soldiers are still actively engaged in fighting in that country, or after we leave depends on the will of our enemies, who are much emboldened in the last year because of Obama. This man is our president! We soon will be in for the fight of our life and it will be right here on American soil and this man (Obama) does not want to hear the word “TERRORIST”

What is most tragic is that every single decision involving American Soldiers has been and is being made by Obama and his cohorts in Congress for purely political reasons;in other words, the presidential photo-op at the Dover Air Force Base of a returning soldier who did not survive his last battle; and the ‘courageous’ Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid attaching the idiotic and unpopular ‘hate crimes’ bill to the legislation necessary for the funding of our troops. In other words pass her hate crime bill or else neither will get passed. Shame on our congress. A person can watch the Democrats in charge in Washington trying their best to figure out how to lose this war, just like they did for Vietnam, whether it is in actions taken or not taken. Although every battle was won in Vietnam by our soldiers the war (what they were fighting for was lost, thanks to politicians). If you will look you will see that neither Obama nor any leaders in congress have been able to bring themselves to mention the idea, nor the word, “VICTORY” when it comes to American military s war on terror. They have a pretty good track record that shows they are very good at doing and making things happen that would hurt and do much harm to America and our soldiers.

Now, our soldiers who are defending America, who entered the military because they want to fight for American ideals and freedoms that was created over 200 years ago, and who are being prevented from doing so, remain leaderless and are disallowed from protecting our country and even themselves from terrorist acts, even on their own military bases. It is time that we, the American people, stand up for our soldiers and fight to protect them from the lacks government that we have.

Soon Obama will have all the troops pulled out of Iraqi and Afghanistan, (with out winning the war, the battles yes the war no) and as soon as that happens these two countries along with Pakistan will soon fall to the terrorist and then the terrorist will not only have three countries to use as points to attack America and Israel but will also have the nukes from Pakistan to use against this country and Israel. Add Iran to the mix and we will be in a world of trouble. It is time that this country has a strong president, a strong congress, and a strong nation that will back our service men 100%

The Great Mystery

If Obama Runs again
What if Obama decides to run for office again. Would we demand it to be different this time? Would the American public let some issues slide that should have been made public in the first election? I would hope not. Obama was a person elected to the highest office in our land. He ran his campaign on transparency and said that is the way his presidency would be “Transparent”. This was far from the truth even before he was elected. His birth certificate should have been made public for all to see as it is required by the laws of this country. What is the reason why this all important document was not made public? Where is the transparency of the Obama presidency here? There can be nor is there any honest or simple explanation for concealing his birth certificate from the American public. In the history of the Republic there has never been any president that would not make public his birth certificate or any other document that was required for them to seek the office of the president. What makes Obama any different? Obama should go through a verification process, the same as all the other presidents of this country, if he chooses to run for another term.
Therefore, even if he acts Un-American and seems to go against American interests, he's still has a right to be president if he can prove where he was born. Obama could solve this problem and make some people back off by simply showing ... his long form birth certificate, which he will no do. This leads me and many other people across this nation to believe he has something to hide. If he did not have something to hide he should even at this late date come forth with it. That would truly show that his presidency is, as he said it would be, transparent. He's spent an awful lot of money to keep people from seeing the birth certificate. ... I think it has to do with something else." what is he trying to hide?
It should be pointed out, the irony of Obama's campaign on "transparency" and "accountability" and his subsequent refusal to "disclose even the simplest form" proving his ability to meet constitutional requirements of a president. Those demands include the president be a "natural born" citizen, which the American public still does not know. WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible for the Office of President." There are some lawsuits, before the courts, that question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, most of the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time. We will never know this.
Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.
Complicating the situation is Obama's decision to spend sums estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to avoid releasing a state birth certificate that would put to rest all of the questions. Once again I ask the question, WHY. Where is the transparency?
Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.
Also among the documentation not yet available for Obama includes kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, His Columbia thesis,Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records.
The birth certificate posted on line, during the election and widely proclaimed as "Obama's birth certificate" does not in any way prove he was born in Hawaii, since the same "short-form" document is easily obtainable for children not born in Hawaii. The true "long-form" birth certificate – which includes information such as the name of the birth hospital and attending physician – is the only document that can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but to date he has not permitted its release for public or press scrutiny. Once again I ask why. Oddly, though congressional hearings were held to determine whether Sen. John McCain was constitutionally eligible to be president as a "natural born citizen," no controlling legal authority ever sought to verify Obama's claim to a Hawaiian birth. If Obama runs for office again it must be demanded of him to produce his birth certificate.

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE GAME – To win or not to win

Everyday for over ten years, if you are like me, you hear over the radio of Islam terrorist killing maiming, murdering, bombing, beheading, torturing, and doing many other terrible things to promote their idiotic religion. You may be a born again Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, Atheist, Hindu, Agnostic, Jehovah Witness, or a Mormon but none of these religions or beliefs are today killing untold thousands of people for no other reason than you are thought of as a infidel. These people are terrorizing and killing people all over this world. When are the sane and civilized nations of this world going to say enough and really do something about it? This is no poker game. People are being killed and maimed everyday. Our soldiers are being killed and sent home in body bags. They are being sent home with no arms and legs. But most of the soldiers that come back alive and in one peace want to go back because they know as we do, we can not lose this war.

The long awaited decision by our commander in chief to send more troops to the war has finally been made. Obama said that he is sending morel troops to Afghanistan, and then bring them home again starting in 2011. How can you put a date on something like that? Why are we even sending our soldiers over there to be shot, maimed , and killed if we are just going to bring them home before the mission is accomplished? Before we win. Even worse is this governments plans of building a new nation in Afghanistan and even in Iran. This is a waste of time. You will never change these peoples way of thinking. Our government said everything is okay in Iraq and going along okay, but just today {December 08,2009) there was three separate attacks in Baghdad that killed over 120 people. This still goes on every week. You can not change the way these people live. They will not give up their 72 virgins and a place in heaven. You have to deal with them like we dealt with the Japanese in World War II, which by the way saved a estimated one million American lives. We had people in our government at that time that put more value on the lives of the American soldier and the security of our nation than we did for the enemy.

Why is it that it only took this country four years to defeat the Nazi and the Japanese fanatics, but we have been fighting the Islamic terrorist for close to ten years {they have been killing us way before that} and we still have no credible plans for a decisive victory? What is the problem? We have the strongest armed forces in the world and they could achieve what ever they wanted and set out to do. So why is this war taking so long to bring to a close. The answer is so simple. If you want a dog to bite you do not keep him behind a fence or on a leash. You take him off the leash and let him bite! Lets take our Army and Marines off the leash and let them win.

Our military today has been put behind that fence, with their hands tied, and on a short lease, guided by a government that restricts the rules of engagement and strategies to promote their unproven theory of "counterinsurgency," no matter what it takes in terms of billions of dollars and the blood of our bravest young soldiers is a {I'm Sorry} campaign to make millions of Afghans more like us rather than more like the jihad-happy Tali ban drug-thugs that they really are. We have the means of stopping this war and winning it, so why play games with the lives of our young men? Why put the security of this nation and its people in jeopardy from future attacks such as the one on 911 and in Fort Hood Texas?

Some will say this isn't a conventional war. If you try to compare World War II with the war against terror you will hear the the government say: There's no comparison between World War II and today. You can say that again and again. I have to agree with that statement, but not for the same reason the government is putting forth as the reason. We must face facts. During World War II our soldiers were sent over there and told to win the war. We had generals who controlled the troops, in the theater of operations, that won the war, not by politicians sitting in Washington. The sad thing is, as soldiers will tell you, war is hell. Hell on earth.

This country waged total war on the Axis powers. They firebombed German cities and nuked Japanese cities and, in the process, they killed thousands of Germans and Japanese with those bombs. Needless to say that sounds horrible but war is war, no more soldiers had to die. The war is over and we are at peace with these countries. If you go to war you fight to win. We won and we are still a free nation. When you do not ask for a war but rather it is put on you, then you must fight to win. You fight to survive. What if the Allies, during world War II had tried to win the war with modern day Washington's theory of counterinsurgency? What if they had tried instead to win Nazi hearts and Japanese minds? Where would we be today. I will tell you where, We would be bowing to the emperor, and saluting Hitler as we goose stepped by him.

What if Gen. Eisenhower, like Gen. McChrystal today in Afghanistan, had went through German towns, asking the people, "What do you need?", “what can we do for you”, “We will not hurt you” What if Gen. MacArthur, like Gen. McChrystal today, had stressed Japanese population protection over U.S. Arm Force protection, ordering troops to guard "the people" from everything that could hurt them? What if U.S. forces had bought and paid for a Sunni-style "Nazi awakening"? What if General Patton and General MacArthur had rewritten constitutions to enshrine Nazism in Germany and Shintoism in Japan? What if the United States remained to protect the new governments from "extremists" who, as Obama said this past week, "distorted and defiled," severally, their {the terrorist} ideology and religion? Give me a break! This country would be speaking German, and the West Coast would be speaking Japanese. When are these people in Washington going to wake up? We must go all out to win this war or we will be saying the Koran, our women will be wearing sheets with their head covered, and we will all be riding jackasses with beards a mile long while we are running away from the pork chops and bacon. There will not even be a ham bone for the dog. Our government must get real about this war if we are to win. We have gone that extra mile and now it is time to win this insane and deadly war by what ever means that this country has at its disposal. It is time to get off the pot and stop spending billions of our tax payer dollars in a long drug out war that is helping to cripple our economy and for what?

Luckily, we didn't have politicians pulling the levers back then, like we have now. For an example there is an enemy stronghold in the province of Helmand that is also the center of the opium trade and it is also where most of the terrorist IEDs are made (which, by the way, is causing and has caused more than 80 percent of U.S. casualties in Afghanistan), This stronghold will be a target for the incoming reinforcements that Obama has promised. If this happen back in World War II our troops would not be put in harms way or used to destroy this strong hold. We would have bombed them until there was nothing left. There would have not been one opium seed or terrorist left. Why send in troops to be killed when the place could be bombed into surrendering or bombed off the face of the earth, which ever comes first. It should not be won by the casualties of a ground war where our soldiers will be maimed and killed, not by promising the terrorist 72 virgins and a place in heaven if they behave their self. Send them to hell because that is what they want to do to us.

T
he basic trouble with todays politicians is that they do not have a clue. They need to open their eyes and see the destruction that is coming. While this country is over there trying to take weak steps to bring the terrorist to submission, reading the terrorist their Miranda warnings, and paying out tax dollars through the nose, these people are already planning how to kill, or maim thousands of us again when ever they get the chance. They would nuke us along with them selfs if they thought that it would help their cause.

Supporting Democracy – a wake up call

During the last year their has been a lot of wake up calls for this country since we have elected and installed our new president. We, as Americans have a lot to think about this Christmas season. How long will we remain free and how much longer will we have the freedoms that our forefathers had and enjoyed. This past year should be a wake up call for all Americans who love freedom. The take over of the banks, financial institutions, auto makers and many other businesses, including trying to impose a heath care system on this country that would set the medical field back 100 years. This has all happen in less than one year. The tripling of the nations deficit that keeps getting bigger. Everyone of these is, or should be, a serious wake up call for all Americans. We have a president that wants to make a security force that is bigger than the army and answerable only to him. Why? What is wrong with the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, ATF, and many state and local police departments?

But here is truly, a most important wake up call that most American people have just passed over and over looked. During the last two hundred years the United States has gone around the world to spread and promote democracy to other countries. Too bad Obama don't practice what this country has preached and believes in a little closer to home. All we have to do is to look at Honduras and see that this country present administration is not practicing what The United States has spread around the world in the past. That is all people are free and have the right to make a choice.

It is unthinkable that a president of freedom-loving Americans will stood toe to toe with and along side of Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Cuba's Castro in their effort to sabotage and under mind the country of Honduras as they fought to keep their country free of communism and socialist values. It is beyond belief that The Obama Administration demanded that the poor country, of Honduras restore Manuel Zelaya, who was forcibly removed from power on June 29, after he attempted to subvert and destroy the constitution of that country and hold a referendum to make himself president for life. In other words he was trying to set himself up to be a dictator. There would have been no more freedoms for that little country. Here a little and there a little Zelaya was setting himself up as a dictator. He stood for the Liberal Party in the November 2005 presidential election and won by a narrow margin. But since then he has gone way to the left.

Despite his middle of the road credentials, Zelaya moved Honduras away from its traditional ally the United States, winning the support of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and other leftist (communist) leaders. Publicly backed by such leftists (communist) leaders such as Mr Chavez, Bolivian President Evo Morales and former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Mr Zelaya began to lose the support of his own party. In May 2007, Mr Zelaya ordered all of the country's TV and radio stations to carry government propaganda for two hours a day, accusing them of giving his government unfair coverage. In August 2008, he took Honduras into the Bolivian Alternative for the Americas (Alba), an organization set up by Venezuela as an alternative to the stalled US plan for a Free Trade Area of the Americas. Mr Zelaya's removal came as he pressed on with plans to hold a public conference to ask people whether they supported moves to change the constitution. This would have meant adding a question to the ballot for November's presidential election on setting up a body charged with redrawing and making a new constitution.

What happened in Honduras on June 28 was legal, although not perfect, but we are not living in a perfect world. The attorney general of Honduras charged Zelaya with violating a number of clauses of the Honduran Constitution. The Supreme Court backed him up, and when Zelaya refused to comply with the court order, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Yes, the army removed Zelaya from the country, but only because it feared violence by his communist supporters, who were already gaining a foot hold in that country, and the leaders of that country also wanted to uphold the constitution of the country. Roberto Micheletti, the former head of Congress, was the next in line for the presidency, and he was ratified for this office by an overwhelming vote, including the majority of Zelaya's own party. All of Honduras' democratic institutions were fully functioning and intact. Honduras held its scheduled presidential election Nov. 29 – the one Zelaya was seeking to undermine – and has invited in independent observers from around the globe.
This was not good enough for Obama. The Obama administration demanded that Honduras reinstate Zelaya as president even though he is not legally eligible to run again, even though he was trying to subvert and destroy the constitution of his country and its freedoms. To further strong arm Honduras into taking Zelaya back, the Obama administration cut $30 million in aid {that is a lot for a small country}, had visas suspended and stood by as the country of Honduras was dumped from the U.N. Human Rights Council by the likes of Nicaragua and Cuba, both of which are communist countries. This is no way for a freedom living government to treat or help a poor neighboring country trying to sustain and uphold a democratic government and give its citizens a better quality of life. We should have done the same to Honduras as we have done to other countries that want freedom. Help Them!

BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT – See no, Hear no, Say no

During the Bush administration the federal government created The Department of Home Land Security to protect us from horrible and deadly terrorists attacks. The question that I would like to put forth to you who read this is : the U.S. government still serious about protecting Americans from the extreme violence of Islamic terrorist attacks – or isn't it? Is the word TERRORIST still allowed in the American vocabulary? Where does our leaders stand on this issue? I ask this question because The Department of Homeland Security, was created to defend this nation after the onslaught of Sept. 11 when Islamic terror attacks killed thousands of Americans in New York, Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania, but now has radically and quickly, since the presidential elections, shifted its focus on its true and most important duties, by earlier this year, advising police departments, the state police, county sheriff departments, and other law enforcement agencies across the nationwide to watch out for "right-wing extremists" – especially the returning war veterans, The people supporting the Second Amendment, the ones that oppose abortion and illegal immigration, and promoting U.S. sovereignty and the Constitution. Watch out and keep a good eye on the tea baggers because they could be extremist. Please tell me who is the enemy. Do we have a failure to communicate here or is there a problem with those who are in charge of this great Republic?
The U.S. Army ignored and did not heed piles of warning signs that Army Major Nidal Hasan was a brainwashed, jihadist sleeper just waiting to blow up – yet the army or FBI did absolutely nothing to avert the Fort Hood massacre of dozen or so American soldiers and the wounding and maiming of many others. The facts were all there before them and they did nothing to stop it for fear of being accused of profiling. It is called wanting to be “politically correct.” Those politically correct nuts will do it every time. Are they still going to avoid these signs as they did with Hasan so they can remain politically correct? Will political correctness stop them from preventing another massacre.
Five of the Gitmo terrorists – the worst of all that are or were in Gitmo, including the 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohamed, who proclaims to the world, the government's terror charges are a "badge of honor" and the greatest thing that could happen to him is to be tried in civilian court in New York City, near ground zero, giving him, free of charge, a world wide stage so He and his buddies can farther spread their nut cake ideology all over the world, and while they are doing it they are opening up America's secrets on how we fight the war and what we know about them, so they can be discovered by the terrorists through their lawyers – and it is all paid for by us, the United States Taxpayers. Where are we as a nation headed. We must wake up.
More than one Islamic terror training camps are operating right under the nose of law enforcement, not in some far-off land, but all across the USA and we once again do nothing about this major threat, but if you are a gun owner, against abortion, or a returning soldier look out because you are on a watch list if you speak out. Once again what is wrong with this picture. What's going on here?
Does the government really care about national security anymore? Let me ask you this question: Why do you think, or tell me why, whenever there's a terror attack on American soil, the FBI always declares and states right away – before it could possibly know what the cause was, that the attack was not terror-related? This is before all the facts are in. Why do they do that?
Why does the media cook up the most stupid explanations for terrorism – such as this one: Time magazine blaming post traumatic stress disorder for Hasan's Fort Hood rampage (even though he was never deployed in a war zone and never did know the taste of war) or the Associated Press' disclosure revealing that the Hasan was "lonely"? Or why did the press give six different theories to explain the terror and deaths caused by the beltway sniper {John Muhammad}, but not one news outlet mentioned jihad as a possible motive when the plain simple fact is, he was a convert to Islam and who knows how much farther he cared it his new religion and for what reasons.. We will never know the rest of the story.
Why does President Obama use every chance made available to him for the opportunity to criticize and pick apart America and always go overboard for Islam – even calling America "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world" and bowing subserviently before the Muslim king of Saudi Arabia? What is that really telling us? If you are a Muslim nation you are governed by Muslim laws and I do not think that is the case – YET – in this country. Meanwhile, Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano, who demonizes pro-lifers, to no end, and war veterans as Tim McVeigh wannabes just goes to far. She has appointed her advisory council head,Kareem Shora, who, by the way, is the national executive director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, whose officials have labeled deadly anti-U.S. jihadists as "heroes" and opposed referring to Hamas as a terrorist organization when any body with a lick of sense knows that is exactly what Hamas is. Once again I ask: What is happening here? Who are the nut cakes running this country?
As far as I'm concerned there is nothing that demonstrates the national-security of the Obama
administration better than its eagerness to see threats where none exist while being unwilling and unable to see those that are staring us in the face. The kind that will kill thousands of Americans if there is a chance. There has to be something wrong with this picture! The evil of 'political correctness – the undemocratic influence of thought, put on us by twisted people, some of who are in our government, people who hate America and everything our soldiers have fought, and continue to fight and die for has to end. We must put a stop to it.

Our right to own fire arms is under attack now like it never has been before. We have a right to own a gun for defense of family and home,We have a right to own a gun for hunting, shooting or collecting. We have the right to own a gun to break the chains of tyranny. Our Founding Fathers said it. Our Constitution guarantees it. Our courts affirm it. Our laws protect it. Yet there are politicians, bureaucrats and members of the media elite who want to tread and trample on and do away with our freedoms. They portray law-abiding gun owners as the members of some lunatic fringe. They attack us in the press and call us second-class citizens. Obama said during his campaign that some people want to cling to their Bibles and guns. What does he mean by that? That statement is clearly putting us in a different class. Why?

Lets get down to the facts! Are we being attacked by nut cakes who use terrorism as their means of getting their message across? The answer is yes and it started way before 911. Are people of this country that voice the opinions against political correctness bad people to be watched? No! Are people who against gun control, abortion, and more government control bad people or anti government? The answer is no!

SIXTY FOUR – and so tired

I will be 64 years old real soon and have been writing this blog for a year. Most of the people who read my blog know that I'm a conservative person and my writings are conservative. What you may not know about me is that I have lived on Delmarva all my life and I am now semi retired and I have worked, hard, since I was 16 years old. I have done every kind of work in my live from working in the farm fields as a teen ager, to being a police officer for years, to owning and operating my own electric company for many years. Despite some major health issues during my last years on the job, I was still putting in 50 to 60 -hours a week, and did not stopped working because I was sick or did not feel good. My father taught me to work hard. I worked hard and made a good living, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and it was not handed down to me, on a silver platter, by the government, or anybody else. I have worked very hard and put in long hours to get where I am and what I have. I have no great amount of wealth, But the point I want to make is I have worked for what I have. I taught my three sons to work hard for what they have and what they want. No one has give me or them any free rides. We have worked for it. But the fact is this, given the way the economy is today, there's is now no full retirement in sight for me, it is back to work to make ends meet and I'm tired. Very tired, tired of giving a large amount of my hard earned money to the "Great Society" of "no show" workers so they can live free of charge, buy more drugs, and laugh as they do it. I'm sure a lot of you who read this feels the same way. There will be no full retirement for the most of us that have worked hard all of our life.

I'm so tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth around" to people who don't have my work ethics or standard and principles. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy or stupid to earn it. The people who will not work in a pie shop eating pies, but want to be a part of a great society. This is who we are spreading our wealth {hard earned money} around to. Sometimes as I sit and think about it, it just makes me sick. I work and other people {the ones who could work like I do} hold their hands out with a serious case of the give me s.

I'm so tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people in their homes." If they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help them because that is the duty of every American. I would truly give my last dollar to someone that needed it. I would want them to do the same for me. We should be a caring people, But to those people that bought mansions at three and four times the price that my little acre cost me, on one-third, or less, of my salary, then, I say this, let the left-wing Congress-liberals who promoted and passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created this problem help them with their own money, not mine or any other hard working American. We have give and give until there is just no more to give. When are we going to say the free ride is over? If we as Americans do not speak up soon and let our voices be heard in unity it will be over for everybody, because we will not be able to keep up.

I'm so tired of being told how bad  America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros, and  Hollywood entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities  our great country has offered and give to them. In thirty years, if they get their way, the  United States will have the economy and financial system of Zimbabwe {which is zero} , the freedom of the press that China has {which is none}, the crime, bloodshed and violent behavior of Mexico {that is already spilling over into our country}, the tolerance for Christian people that are in Iran {which is none}, and the freedom of speech of  Venezuela {which is also none} . Won't multi-culturalism be wonderful and magnificent? What a wonderful country that we will live in! You may laugh at what I'm saying but just look around you. Are you living in the same America that you lived in fifty or even twenty years ago?

I'm so tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when that is a plain lie, when every day you or I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense that in all trueness and reality does not mean a hill of beans; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they are infidels and are not "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls because they consider women second class and sub-servant to them; of Muslims stoning young women who are rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari' a law tells them to do it, while some Americans turn the other way. Can you call this a religion of peace. I hardly think so. This country did not use to be that way. Of course this is the way it was before we as a nation started to compromise our standards and our new form of "political correctness"

I believe "a man should be judged by the content of his character and his heart, not by the color of his skin." I'm tired of being told that "race doesn't matter" in the post-racial world of Barrack Obama, when all that matters is affirmative action jobs, lower standards for college admission and lower graduation standards for minorities (which is harming them the most), government contract set-asides for minorities only, tolerance and acceptance for the ghetto culture, and the society of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone else. I'm tired that if you speak out on these issues or do not agree with the president you are labeled a racist, a want to be terrorist, or anti government. I'm just sick of it. I am a American!

I'm so tired of being labeled by the president and his liberal followers as a person that clings to my Bible and guns when both have been part of my life since I can remember and a part of this country's heritage since it was founded. Like a lot of Americans I will always embrace them both. I'm not a bad person because I have a Bible in my house {and use it daily} and keep guns in my house for self defense, hunting, and to defend this country if necessary. I'm tired of being looked down on by our government and the liberal press when I say that: "It is the person and not the gun that causes problems and deaths. There is coming a day when everybody is going to want a Bible and gun in their house. Many a person has said that this nation was built on God, Guns, and Guts. I'm afraid to say that with the majority of this nation this is not so anymore. They have got rid of God, they are trying get rid of our guns, and guts have gone out the back door. These three things have been replaced by a God-less government, the gradual disarming of our country, and the spineless politicians that will not stand up for what is right and then people wonder what is happening to our great nation.

I think it's very good and shows the world how far our country has come that we have a black president and that a black child is most likely doing her homework at the desk where  Lincoln wrote the emancipation proclamation. How far we have come in creating equal rights for all races. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, Michael Steele, or Thomas Sowell, or someone who believes more in freedom and rights for the individual and less being the arrogant all-knowing government who wants to control all parts of our life. Someone who is not a narcissist like our current president. Someone that does not want to turn this country into a socialist {communist} country. I do not care if our president is black or white, a man or women, as long as they do not dismantle our nation piece by piece as Barrack Obama is doing.

I'm so tired of a news media that tried to make people think that the former president Bush's fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene and to much, but that they think Obama's, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush's military records trying to discredit him, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Sarah Palin with two years as being governor, for being too inexperienced for Vic President, but lay it on thick and heavy that Obama with three years as senator, and one who voted present most of the time, as being the best president this country has ever had. Why is the media so one sided? Why can't they report the news and let us decide? Do you wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions to the local newspapers or why they are switching to Fox News? Let me give you a clue, I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but the news media and Senator Kerry drove me to vote for him in 2004. I saw the light!

I'm so tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money {our hard earned money} to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools, right here in America, to preach hate in our country, while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue, or religious school in  Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance. Where is the give and take on their part? I'm tired of my country being "political correct" I want this nation to stand tall.

I'm so tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do to themselves and others. Let me ask you this question: Did a colossal germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, throw them to the ground and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I sure those drug addicts chose to take the drugs. And I'm tired of harassment from people, who think they are so cool' treating me like and calling me a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I'm so tired of illegal aliens being called "undocumented workers," especially the ones who aren't working, but are living on welfare or crime. What's next? Calling drug dealers, "Undocumented Pharmacists"? And, no, I'm not against Hispanics. I have friends that are Hispanic. They work hard, pay their taxes, come to this country legally and are good neighbors. I'm okay with citizenship for any Hispanic person who can speak English, doesn't have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, one who is not in a gang, or one who serves honorably for three years in our military...those are the kind of citizens we need. The ones who come hear the right way. There is a right way and wrong way of doing things.

I'm so tired of liberals and journalists, who have never worn or who will would never wear the uniform of this country themselves, or let their , as they think, entitlement-handicapped kids, who they think are privileged, near a recruiting station, to trash our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than they are. People who die for their freedom so they can do as they choose. Do bad things happen in war? Yes they do. Do our soldiers sometimes do wrong? Yes they do. Does this compare with the carnage, violence, and killing that were and still are the guiding principle and course of action of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? It is not even close. So here's the deal. I will let myself be subjected to all the humiliation, embarrassment, shame and abuse that was laid on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity and imprisonment by the Muslims who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we'll compare notes. As far as I have read and researched the British and American soldiers are the only troops in history, to my knowledge and study, that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from them in fear of their lives.

I'm so tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and integrity while the other party has a corner on dishonesty. Read the papers; Bums are bipartisan and they will always be useless and worthless. They come from both sides of the isle. And I'm tired of people telling me we need bi-partisanship. Look at the crooks who live in  Illinois , where the politicians in Illinois has worked to loot and take from the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama's cabinet as well and other tax cheats in the past.

I'm so tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers, and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when all of us know they really think their only mistake was getting caught and how not to get caught again. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement or privilege, rich or poor. We {the hardworking tax payers} pay for our mistakes and so should they. What are they entitled to that which we as hard working Americans are not entitled to?

Speaking for the truly poor, we need to help them because it is the American way. No one in this country should go hungry or have no place to live, no one should be denied a doctor or health care, no one should be looked down on in this country because of race or financial position, but I'm tired of seeing people pull out food stamps to pay for their two carts of food and then pull out a wad of money that would choke a horse to pay for their beer and cigarettes. I'm so tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars being called poor, living off of our tax dollars. The majority of Americans didn't have all that in 1970, but we didn't think or considered ourselves poor. The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing for them to be re-elected. It is whatever it takes, right or wrong, to get re-elected. That is how they look at it. It is not what is best for the country, but it is what is best for them and their re-election.

I'm real tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination, or big-whatever for their problems that they themselves has caused. We all know {the majority of us} that it is time to stand up and get these people the heck out of our government and elect people who are honest and truly care about this country and its citizens.

Yes, I'm really tired. But I'm also glad to be 64. Because, I'm not going to have to see the country these people are making or not much of it anyway. I'm just sorry for my grand kids and your grandkids who will receive the benefits of these people who control our government. Freedom as we have known it, our grandkids will never see if this country is not turned around soon.

We don't need a society of vandals

When demonstrations triggered by the death of George Floyd spread to Philadelphia, vandals defaced a statue outside City Hall of an old whit...
